VF5r at KS5 or bust.

When I got back into VF in 2007 after a 10 year break from pretty much gaming in general, it took alot of thought to figure out if I really wanted to play again or not. I took the plunge and had a great time making new friends and training to improve my skills. Unfortunately, it seems that foreign VF fans are in a situation where they don't know if their game will live on in the console world. I'm happy for SF, Tekken, Blaze Blue and KOF fans getting their game at home and being able to do what they love but VF outside japan has always been a tough ride. I don't play online further than a solid green connection because I don't enjoy it and I think its too far from the real game.

Anyways, I thought long and hard and i've decided that KS5 is my deadline for waiting around for console R. If it's not announced there, im pretty much done with the game as I feel spending time on my career, capoeira and other hobbies is much more important and not dictated by a video game companies financial situation or poor interaction with hardcore fans.

Of course I am not dropping off the face of the earth and I intend to keep talking with all the wonderful freinds I made on here and through the game. People who understand what type of person I am will know why I can't do something half assed and I appreciate not trying to coerce me to play VF5 anymore.

Hopefully we'll get our wish at KS5 and someone can delete this thread. If not, then i'll c ya guys around.

you've made my decision to ever fix my stick very easy. I guess I'll do it if something ever appeals but no rush as I really don't expect VF5-r to be announced.

VF5R can come to your arcade, but would you go there? Or are there restrictions too tough to import it? Of course, there is the diabolical cost of importing from Japan. So keep getting freinds and family to ask for a console VF5R through, you know what.

Anyway, why would you expect a console version of an arcade game be announced at that arcade tournament?

Also glad you're dropping out of VF5 for good, no matter what situation. VF5R is very different...

I would wait till E3 or TGS 2009, but after all it's just a video game for your entertainment and shouldn't be something that takes over your life.

With or without VF5R I will still have plenty of games to play (VF5, SF4, RE5, KOF12, etc...) to hold my gaming interest when it is needed.

I'm with Brisal LA. If you can hold off till then that would be greatly appreciated. I know it's painful bro, but just give it a little bit longer. I remember just yesterday you were trying to convince us to hang in there and it helped. I'm gonna try and share some of my strength with you and ask you to now hang in there with us.

I know it's VF or bust, but come on there has to be some other game / party game something that you can play with the homies until then. At least move your Xbox to your living room that way you can kick back on your couch and maybe share a nice game of Left 4 Dead with some friends. There is nothing to think about in that game just run and kill. It's great for stress and you get to chat and laugh with your buds. Now that I have met you I love having you around. There aren't that many of us hitting the 30 mark around here anymore so we need to stick together bro. This is the way I feel about VF as well- if no new VF comes out, I just have to deal with it and play other stuff.

Would be a crying shame, I hope we get R or 6 in a few years.

I thinks when KS5 is finished plus new version comes out in arcade, it's the best timing to announce home version if Am2 would like to launch it before the end of this year. I don't know why Am2 took a long time to adjust new version in R but I really hope the coming one is the final version.
It's painful to be one SEGA fan, all we can do is waiting and waiting.......................
