Jean has a lot of cool moves and people seen to have learnt to play with him now. he reminds me of tekkens kazuya (lol maybe he is using mishima style karate)
I think jean will be cooler looking once we see a customized one with another hairstyle and different skin color /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shocked.gif

Anyways, both Jean & Taka look very bad-ass in these vids!

Not to mention, the new stages look sick and the new BGM's are awesome as well-especially the new Sarah stage!

music is way faster on R, Not sure if I like it more or less atm.

As big a jump (in music) from 5 to R as 4 to Evo, right? (As 4 had techno mainly and Evo had rock mainly)

 

Am I dreaming ? in the Sarah vid, the CPU Sarah does a sort of a taunt after she wins the second round, after the KO ?

 

No, that's her regular idle animation. If you watch the next round she does it again right before the start of the match.
It looks like VF borrowed (or stole, depending on what side of the fence you're on) the idle animation idea from Tekken 6.
Brad looks like he kinda rotates his shoulders and Sarah brushes her hair back. That's going to look weird with a short hair item, lol.

 

End of the second round in that Brad vs Taka vid it looks like Brad kept trying to hit Taka with a light down attack after the KO but all that would come out was Brad's side kick.
Looks like down attacks after the KO really are gone, bad news for those that loved doing that crap and good news for those players who were sensitive to that crap.

I don't care either way but I'm still curious as to why AM2 took it out in the first place /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/confused.gif

 

I think am2 should've added a feature that removes your testicles if you cry about being stomped after you lose. Brad's music is frickin' hype btw.

 

Duno about rock influenced, for all of the tracks anyway, but does seem like the tempo or presence of the music has been upped in R. Based on the music in the Brad Vs. Taka match though, I really dig it so far.

EDIT: Actually, watching this Jean Vs. Brad one, I def see what you mean about the rock influence. This feels/sounds like oldschool SEGA days to me. Which is a damn good thing.

Taka Stumble on Launch and popups that is so ill. I love the Little fence is it so cute. No walking ring out but light popup can get it done. Brillant!! I noticed that Brad attacks into slipping looks more fluid than ever and his crouching Jab hits low? I hope all crouching jabs are not like that.

This game is the Real Deal. I hope PS3 is not online again. So half of you dudes won't run from Xbox live lol! I should have made a thread on that. I don't wanna split up from ya'll cause you are all my friends.............SIKE!!!
