Damn that was funny. Out of the countless VF5R Goh matches that I've seen, I have never seen that happen before with that throw.

^ Hooray for Engrish grammar. Assuming Vane's VA herself actually speaks English, she should've caught that, unless she had no say in the lines she had to read.

"Do you want to be court-martialed?" would've made a lot more sense.

 

Seeing vids like these make me wonder why I never really got into VF until now.

The same could be said to Sega's other games when it comes to english voice acting.. e.g. House of the Dead, Dynamite Cop etc.

Even though Vanessa's VA knows english, she wouldn't have a choice but to follow whats written in the script. A similar case would be in the anime Magical Lyrical Nanoha series where the title main character asks her intelligent device(weapon) if it still has energy to fire. It replies:

I CAN BE SHOT

The intelligent device's VA happens to be Australian.

 

I found that odd too in that vid. I honestly don't know if you now can't combo after it or not.

Could be he's not hit-checking or he wants better positioning for okizeme.

 

i think it doesnt, i was watching other vids... no 3k Ch combo no more.. i havent seen 1 vid where goh combos off 3K ch. He does have a new stomp kick though which is nice, i guess.
