Please say it isn’t so...Why would Sega spend all that money and time on developing the game, esp. with the fancy ass arcade machines and not maximize their efforts by releasing it to consoles? Why is it that Virtua Fighter fans are getting like nooo love? No new DLC, no nothing….what’s the deal

No one knows yet unfortunately. Theres a chance that we might hear something in november as it is the Virtua Fighter 15th anniversary but in the meantime, let's keep our fingers crossed and send those emails to sega.

That's true it is the 15h Anniversary. Maybe a DLC that has the original models from the original VF? That's wishful thinking on my part but I can wait until the VF5R port. The longer they wait to do it the more items that will be available when they do ya know?

Well it appears that Street Fighter IV will be hitting consoles even earlier than expected.

Capcom is even rushing to possibly get the game out within the same WEEK as Super Turbo: HD Remix (I would have a stroke).

So if Sega releases VF:5R in a couple of months they might not have to compete with the MAJOR media onslaught for promotion that Capcom is going to push for Street Fighter IV.

I know that Sega spent thousands and thousands of dollars on a television campaign for VF5 on the PS3 release alone, and then did even more for the 360 version, and that was just in the states. But they should be taking notes for what Capcom has in store coming up in the next couple of months. Expect to see SFIV in every video game website, magazine, trade show, and tons of TV commercials.
