VF5US at CEO (see 4th post)

Did Sega tell a single TO that this game was coming out? Are they that out of touch with the FGC outside of Japan? So much for Virtua Fighter Esports lol.

 

I already have a VF salty suite reserved at the venue. Working on getting it as an official side tourny. Stay tuned!

 

I saw Alex Jebailey playing VF5US on Twitch the other day. No VF at CEO is kinda weird considering the successful launch thus far.

 

Its official! Jebailey said he's excited for Virtua Fighter and gave us the green light to run an official side tournament. Even think he is providing us with medals to hand out!

Team Strike1st with help of the pillars of this community to showcase VF at LAG 2019, Defend The North 2019, EVO '19 and now CEO 2021!

Still need to get some details about what we are allowed. The good thing is we have direct verbal blessing from Jebailey yet others have to go through the form application to get their games added. So he will most likely make another official announcement listing all the side events happening once he processes all the inquiries.

But he told us that he is himself having a good time with the game, streaming his matches and wants VF to have a presence at his event!

ps. Btw I was the lone VF guy at CEO 2019 having a setup on the main convention floor. Got to play some awesome matches with @Seidon and also had a few peeps coming by with interest. Its a good look since CEO is almost as big as EVO in some regards!
