[VFDC CHOICE] Items FAQ

I just want to thank the administrator of this site, Myke, for uploading my FAQ.

I also want to state that if you have any questions regarding methods for characters' items, please post either in their individual threads or here so I can answer them. Any PM's sent my way concerning items will be answered ASAP.

Most questions SHOULD be answered within the FAQ. It is suggested that you read all sections, especially "Methods is General" before you start.

jacky's short red hair is won from a high king jacky named talchou

his long red hair is won from another jacky, i think a high king whose name ends with the 2 letters "HT"

I found a few things tho.

I was able to get Kage's sword set without having the Giant Star yet
I was also able to get Lion's Green sleeves without his Prism Cowboy Hat

Yes, the Long Red Hair for Jacky is won from a High King named Mask du HT.

 

I found some people who give items in Kumite for Lau if you want to add it to the item thing.
You get Red Disc Greaves from Lau named Homer, Ranked Vanquisher
Wooden Fairy Greaves - Sir Lau, 8th Dan

 

Is that all the items for Akira?

 

yeh instead of doing all that crazy shit for sword set jus fight Mr. Maru dragonlord he has shit loads of stuff like sword set the tail coming from the helmet i lthink thats all i fought phantom thunderlord or stormlord twice and got stylish helmet and double bladed sword

 

It says to get hit by float attacks frequently for one of Lei's items. I looked around but I still don't understand what a float attack is, could sumone please explain this?

 

i think attacks that makes you float? eg. knee, shoulder ram. i am guessing though heheh.

 

A simple float attack is Pai's basic Kick (K). Most characters have a basic kick that float the opponent.

 

In the topic of "How I found that item", I'll say that I received the Sanskrit emblem by defeating 4th Dan "Slick Shun" with my 2P Shun Di Costume. More as I play.

 

Besides two new caps for Lau (I've send mails to you) I noticed, that there is ONE MORE cap. I'll give proper data of the oponnent tommorow (and metods for some dunce items)

Yeah great faq. The colored bracelet for Pai: Kumite character is Mini Pai.

 

I've finally aquired this last Cap for Lau (named "Shiny Gold Bead Cap" before), which I mentioned in my last post. And this new item is called.... GOLD BEAD CAP!!! I have two different caps with the same names!!! One, from MsWayneWayne's FAQ - one won from "AttilaDHun" and one from "9 La". They both have the same name, but they look different. Gold Bead Cap from "AttilaDHun" is grey, while Gold Bead Cap from "9 La" is truly gold.

So Lau can have on his head not only Silver Coin Cap, Gold Bead Cap, Spiked Helm and Hero's Helm [MsWayneWayne - this item is not called "Hero's Helmet", but "Hero's Helm"], as it's listed in MsWayneWayne FAQ, but also (besides Bowl, Chinese Opera Mask and Big-Face Mask) Silver Bead Cap, Mixed Bead Cap and another one Gold Bead Cap. These three items are missing even on the scan with Lau's items from White Book!!!

 

I've checked scan with items for Lau - there are only 9 pads. I have 9 pads and there is no:

could u find the kage wit his short sword(lol short sword) cuz i found his spiked arm brace its not sharp arm brace thats wrong u get that from Toxic Kage 9th Dan 2p Outfit

 

No - I have the same problem with short sword (I've got all his items, except this one). My Kage is High King (like all my others characters: Wolf, Vanessa, Lau and Jacky) and I cannot find any Kumite opponent with this item. Maybye someone with lower rank has this item???
