1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. Anybody an expert with video editing tools?

Can anyone recommend a good video editing program that is easy for beginners?

Sony Vegas 9 is the standard for that. I don't know anything about it but it's what everyone edits their MW2 montages with. You can download cracked versions off the internet for free I believe.

Well, I guess it should depend if you're a Mac user or otherwise.

If so, I'd highly recommend buying the Final Cut Suite. That way you can get your hands on programs such as Motion, Soundtrack Pro, and other gems. I found the Final Cut system to be really easy program to edit with.

    I'm using Windows.
I have Sony Vegas but it seems a bit complex, is there something easier to use?

Pinnacle Studio is usually sufficient for most tasks and is an ease to use as well.

I use Pinnacle Studio also bro. It's super easy to use and is more than sufficient. The only bad thing I can say about it is installation is pretty long compare to some others, but once you spend the 20-30 minutes installing EVERYTHING (it comes with a lot of stuff... good stuff) and then invest maybe a day or so to learn the ropes... you will be beyond satisfied.

I remember after getting decent with it I could cap, edit and create a VF replay in less than 10 minutes as long as I wasn't adding any sort of effects or text. And the quality was damn good and could easily be better, but unfortunately my computer is a piece of shit so I'm only able to cap at a really low setting, but like I said even at it's lowest setting it's damn good.

Just check out some of my most recent VF clips and you can see the quality and that's like I said the lowest setting.

I use Sony vegas 8 for video editing, its pretty complex but easy to use just the basic stuff.

Ive only used it for making Youtube poops so i'm not sure how it would work for uploading and editing replays. Its pretty easy to get a hold of aswell [IMG]

Jide do you have Vegas 8 or 9? when I was researching it, It seemed that 8 was the one to go for if your a beginner.
as I heard 9 was abit cluttered and over complicated.

I didnt like pinnacle studio. Ive used windows movie maker lately for my few youtube clips. If I wanted more editing options Id have to use something else though.

You can download Virtuadub its free. I never got around to trying it though. It downloads quick. Might be worth a shot.

I think ZeroEx on here used this for a while?

The best tool is really dependent on what you hope to achieve. There's a number of good suggestions in this thread already, but I'd like to add that Windows Movie Maker is very simple and straightforward to use, and free!

Whenever I want to do something quick and dirty, I usually use WMM. My last video, VF5 Wall Pressure, was done entirely in WMM.
