I got this game last week, very good game I must say.
But I am stik on second stage first part.
there you must jump on the bus, and fly to other side, I know I must use SLOW, but is still not working.
    (I chose adult mode)
    Somebody can give any advice?

You must slow almost all of your VFX bar, and you must do it BEFORE the bust jumps over the cliff /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif. After that, when you release slow, enough propeller fire would be lit to "fly" the bus over.

I dig this game. Last time I played I went through a good deal of Ultra Vieutiful /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif. Tough but fun.

How does it compare to Devil May Cry? That was ruined by the awful 50hz mode.

What do you mean by 50Hz?(I play this game on my little sony TV, this TV has NTSC and PAL, for me was no delay or lang loading time, I has a Jap GC)
That is very good action game, compare to Devil may cry, is more funny, and more comic sty. which was great, but little difficult I find.

Are you using a European Pal PS2 for Devil May Cry?
50hz is the standard for all Pal games although some have a 60hz option. When the games get converted to Pal they end up slower than the US and JP NTSC versions and they have borders above and below the display. In DMC the borders are HUGE and this makes the graphichs look squashed and small. You need to use a widescreen TV with zoom to strech the picture but this doesn't eliminate the slowed down gameplay.

When I say slowed down I don't mean load times or occasional slow down I mean the game just plays slower throughout. When a game has a 60hz mode it eliminates these problems but few PS2 games have them.

No, I have Jap PS2 too and Devil may cry 1& 2 (like1 more than 2)
I know what you mean, My friend has euroPS2 and FFX, and when he play the game like slowmotion.(when tidus runs)

Stil can't do that, just little to the otherside. /versus/images/graemlins/confused.gif
but is better than before, when is the timing for jump?

Can you explain more the detail?
what do you mean by "enough propeller fire would be lit to "fly" the bus over."

Thanks a lot, wait for anwerse

Hmmm, wierd. How much of your VFX bar is filled? I remember I spent a few minutes on this part on my first time through, but then learned the right way and got it first time in my other playthroughs.

Like I said, the key is to use slow-motion just a bit after the bus shows up and you jump over it (When you do that you will see the fire builds up). If you do slow while the bust is jumping you won't reach. Also, you can cover a little more space after the bus jump by double jumping and then Red-Hot-Kicking to the right platform.

Feel free to ask any other questions about the game /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

    Just did it!!
thanks man because this"BEFORE the bust jumps over the cliff " this is very important, if you do that, bus will fly very very high in the air, don't need to jump, Is very easy to do that, Now I can do that everytime, thanks to you my friend

When i jumped over there, two Hct waiting for me, sh*t a have just one life, but I fight a while, "God" give me a menu of hamburg about 3 life. I finish the frist Hct, and I got luck, when I kick a solider(he trun to show, and I kicked) back to the Hct, His one and half life is gone, can't belive my eyes.

But thanks anyway my friend /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

    One more question:
Now I am on Stage 5, frist part,
after you finished Joker, how can I get out of there, I mean how do i use those BOMs?

    Thanks

As soon as the bombs come out, kick the one to the right into the hole on the right, then immediately jump over the slot machine and slow /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

Are you having fun with the black grunts? It took me a while to figure out hot to dizzy them, but after some experimenting I figured it out. You have skull indicators for the first 2 hits but not the last 2. What you should do is note where the second hit hits, then the 3rd is gonna be reverse of that, and the 4th is reverse of the 3rd. Example: If you get Skull Up, Skull Down, then the full evade sequence is down, up, down, up.

    Hi,
    Thanks, I did that already.
The black grunts are really difficult to fight with, thanks your methode. It works pretty good! /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif thanks.

I am on stage 6 now, looks like this stage has no first and second part.

    questions:
How many stages are in the game? I think 7 or 8
If I contin too much, I can still use Silvia?
and after Silvia, mind be thunderboy and capitain Blue
I hear from my friend, Is that true?

The game has 7 stages. The boss of stage 6 is the hardest thing ever in the game, so make sure you pay attention and practice /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif (Wait untill you play against him in V-rated & Ultra V-rated modes).

** Spoiler ** You can unlock Sylvia if you finish Adult, then you unlock Alastor if you finish V-rated, and finally Captin Blue for finishing Ultra. Sylvia is little weaker than Joe but moves MUCH faster. Alastor plays differently; I will leave it for you to see how he plays /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

You may find that playing V-rated and Ultra V-rated can be more fun than playing other characters. The game shines with skill with those modes, and Ultra doesn't even have skull marks !! (Imagine fighting those black grunts in Ultra). I love it /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif.
