Virtua fighter 2 winner?

Based on the story line I know Lau won the first tournament, Kage won the third, the forth no one won, but who won the second?

 

Akira did.

No, Akira lost to kage in the second tournament

 

"Defeated and humiliated by Kage" is a phrase describing events from the first tournament, which Kage won.

It seems to me that the phrase "returned home with the second tournament trophy" suggests that Akira actually did win VF2. Either that, or he just bashed the real mysterious winner on the head in the locker room and took his prize, but that's a pretty unprobable turn of events /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif .

 

True but.. Kage didn't win the first tournament, he just beat Akira.

Yes, akira did win the second I always wondered who won it.
And Shun di was in the final round of virtua fighter four until j6 screwed things up.

VF5 - Lion (because he's twice the man he used to be! Or at least Fuudo is)... or Kage (Shang-Ban ftw)... or Lei Fei (Fumin ftw)... or Eileen (PPf+P ftw)... well, we'll see who wins VF5... maybe...

Isn't he like the luckiest top-notch VF player in the world?

He kinda won the final match of OH5 in the least convincing way possible, same for other matches with other great players. Does anyone have any footage in which Fuudo doesn't win 3-2?
