Virtua Fighter 3 Related Question

Does anyone know where I can find some good videos of matches involving the game Virtua Fighter 3/3tb? I found a few under the media section, but they were all down /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif ..... anyways I have always wanted to see media of the arcade version of this game...which is made worse by the fact that I have never gotten the oppurtunity to play the game.

you can try looking for the tournament video itself. i got mine like 10 years ago. so i guess it d be pretty hard to find today. but regardless, it's a good video. it shows the japan tourney first, then the international one.

 

There was an uploaded video of the international tourney for vf3ob. search media and see if the link still exists.

that was actually a pretty cool video...too bad it was so small..damn virtua fighter 3 looked good for its time.

 

i did actually look for decent vf3 videos in my archives...but didn't find any that really fit your request. i know that there's some decent footage of later japanese vf3tb tournaments somewhere on the web, but i can't recall where they were hosted, and googling really doesn't get you anywhere. i vaguely remember some european site that had a few of them.

Hmm, they aren't coming up.

 

Hmm... guess it's time to dig up the good ol' VF Archive CDs (thanks Mr. Bungle!) and eventually go Google Video those.

Then again, I'm the least reliable person on the boards when it comes to things like that...

... About the tournament videos... I think it was a Taiwanese or Hong Kong site a long time ago that had the Beat-Tribe tournament encoded into Real. When I'm back at my apartment, I'll go digging to see if I have it on CD anywhere.

 

I have several Gigabyte of VF3 movies, footage material, audio, etc, etc, etc including the Beat-tribe tournaments, Java Tea finals, Max Battle Tape etc, etc, etc.
