Japanese Mook. Not sure what publisher it is, but it's now available. I ordered the Elementary Phase and Advanced Phase books by Enterbrain, along with a PS2 guide by Aspect from www.jamall.com. Awesome place to get your books/mooks. Tracking is easy, and I shipping from Japan only takes 2 days once the books are shipped. Tracking status is awesome... did I already say? Received my stuff in pristine condition.

Do a search for the books with "ba-cha fuxaita" at www.jamall.com. Choose english page first, then type it in with "title" chosen.

BTW, the Evo guide is ISBN# 4797321822

You can see a preview of the book at eBay. Someone is selling two copies... from Japan for 39 bucks and 12 bucks shipping. Jamall has it for 27, with 5 bucks shipping... in that range. On ebay, do a seach for "Virtua Fighter Perfect". He has a pic.

And now the question becomes whether or not it contains frame rates...

    cheers.

Thanks. Will hop a subway around town until I find it in a bookstore tomorrow. XD

Arcadia is putting out a book on the 19th, as well. It comes with a bonus DVD, not sure what it contains yet... we'll see. If it's entertaining footage me and the teammates might just set up a viewing party. hehe.

Hey wassup Picollo... Ah, the Sega Rally 411 days. After winning the first race, I remember getting my ass handed to me. Dead? Hah! HG? I don't go where I'm not wanted... Anyway, after moving from Hawaii to Arizona, I took a 2 year hiatus. Unbelievably, I've been posting at d Gaming Age boards for the past month.

Anywayz... here's the pic of the EVO mook.

Zero Chan... haha, I've been to your site only 2 weeks ago to see how to get Candy's skirt off in FV2. Coincidence to see you here. /versus/images/icons/smile.gif [IMG]

Just got the book, folks. Hella nice, big, thick, lots of pictures, damage amounts, flowcharts, vs. strategy, etc. etc. etc.

No framerates, though. Sorry, you're going to have to wait for "wanking material" (hi CreeD), heh heh. Maybe in the Arcadia book.

    Catch22: Does this mean I'm semi-notorious? (^_^;)

Okay I get this is the perfect guide, I mean I would by it for the cover alone. But is it the perfect guide or close to it for someone who does not speak one syllable of Japanese? I wonder if it has a lot of pics that I can use with vfdc's command list to figure out the commands and the moves.

    Zero,
Hey, how much did you pay for it?

And can you give more details on the Arcadia Mook with the DVD.

    ctwentytwo...

why? Wait, Almaci, is someone using my handle? I really can't stand some of the posters... juvenille would be an understatement.

BTW, if anybody wants, there is an extra VF4 stick from www.toysnjoys.com . I used to shop there back in the islands for imports that NCS could'nt provide, and I'm surprised their online business is this well known. Anyways, I got one, and there's one left. $59 + $10 shipping (UPS ground w/ tracking).

2,400 yen + tax at the local bookstore. Don't know much about the book with the DVD yet, except that it's put out by Arcadia, and the title is "Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution Green Book: Law of the Junkies." Goh is also on the cover, I believe.

Zero-chan, could you post the ISBN Number of the Evo Perfect Guide? Is it 4797321822 ??? Want to confirm this before I get it from Jamall, as they have no pictures of the books. Thanks.

Any chance that this VF4: Evo Perfect Guide will ever be printed in English? I have the Japanese version and would give my left arm for an exact duplicate in English

There's not a snowball's chance in hell, unless a casual fan scans the book, translates it, then overlays translated text onto the the japanese text and does some home publishing. The demand for VF info in english isn't worth it to the guys who make these guides.

PS: I see you're in DC. We should hook up for a game or two. I know a dude in MD with an arcade machine.

Man, that is unfortunate about the Perfect Guide. Yeah, I would love to hook up to get my Ass handed to me. Before VF4 I was a Tekken fan so you can probally guess that I am not that good but getting better. Now I don't see what the hell took me so long to make the switch. Does your friend have the VF4 or VF4: Evo machine?
