Virtua Fighter 5 Online Live Streaming

As always I apologize ahead of time if this isn't allowed, I did a search on the forums and didn't see anything on streaming. I wanted to take this out of my video topic and try to expand upon it with all of you. Not too long ago I was inspired by Peaceful Jay's 24/7 Street Fighter Stream on Justin.tv and I began thinking to myself why doesn't VF have something like this? Besides the obvious lack of an online lobby and spectator mode, VF5 could be streamed if one was to sit and play online sessions and record it.

Now I'm not expecting anyone to just step up and create a 24/7 VF5 Stream. I know a lot of you don't have the time, money or resources to do such a thing. I was thinking maybe we could have a weekly/monthly thing, kind of like what WorstPlayer had going with the Weekly Online Shakedowns. Would anyone be interested in doing some live streams sometime? My own personal experience with my VF Stream has been pretty good. I remember in one session I had, Seidon, Shag and AkiraZero giving me pointers in the chatbox during my matches which was both fun and helpful.

Maybe we can get a list of people who have or would be interested in streaming some of their online sessions?

PS: I also wanted to know if people would be more interested in watching Ranked matches or Player sessions? I figured Ranked matches would be more entertaining because you'd see more variety of players coming in and out after each match rather than just one on one sessions with one player. But again that's just me.

 

This sounds like a great idea. I would like to be apart of this but I have no means of streaming or recording my matches unless whomever I am playing were to do that on there side.
I think rank battles would be the smoothest and more exciting way to do this.

 

While I like the idea, I think it's doomed. /killjoy
