Virtua Fighter 6

Even not the old game is the main problem.
The lack of this game on the CURRENT (=actual) PLATFORM is the problem.

I would play even old VF5FS if it was on PS4.

I hope SEGA is understanding that.

But i agree with others, i dont see any problem to port separate stand alone VF5FS on PS4 especially when it is already done (in Yakuza 6)...

 

Just on a sidenote, it seems we can expect PS5 around christmas 2020. So... PS4 port will not last THAT long.
Because of this - and not only this, but many other stuff too, modding included - I heavily prefer PC port.

 

Please lock thread until 2020.

 

Maybe sega is waiting for next gen consoles to arrive like PS5 to put VF6 on it. PS4 is pretty outdated already IMO. I would rather wait myself if that's the case. In meantime more people need to jump back on FS.

 

Also keep in mind that there are still tourneys for SFII ST and that game is well over 20 years old.

 

And I gotta agree with Shiny on this. If you can't tell the difference between a thumb nail of Akira from vf5 FS and Akira from DOA 5. You are a dick riding poser fuckboy

 

And if you ask me, vf 5 fs graphics aren't dated, they even fuck with T7s, and besides visual aesthetics, mechanics wise, vf rewards you much more for making correct choices. And frame advantage means a lot more in VF than in "in can grab you outta your attack's start up" tekken.

With T7 been there and SC6 and DOA6 are coming soon, all the huge 3D FGs will be there in few months... except one.

Now may Sega stop spamming Yakuza games and drop a top notch godlike VF6.

Until then, it will be great if they release VF5FS on PS4.

 

I don't know why you guys are talking about DOA lmao.

And maybe outside of Pai i think the VF characters look terrible in DOA5, they didn't get the respect they deserve in this game and they look 10 times better in VF5FS imo.

Btw i don't want to see any VF characters again in DOA6, i want VF6.

 

VF2 VF4 VF5FS aged super very well it's a fact.

But we are 4k generation now it's time for SEGA to make a move.

The 3D engine of the last VF is from 2005, come on now...

 

Yes VF3 has the best stages (maybe VF4 too) but for a Dreamcast game it didn't aged so well.

VF2 for a Saturn game or VF4 for a PS2 game are more impressive.

VF3 could be better when you see Shenmue, Toy Commander, Jet Set Radio, Power Stone... on Dreamcast.

 

Yeah arcade has always been the superior version.

Will it be the same with VF6 ?
