Virtua Fighter anime

browsing boxtorrents yesterday i came across the virtua fighter anime´s first season, anybody interested you can find it in www.boxtorrents.com, just search for virtua, you may have to sign up tho

use 'isohunt.com' and search for 'virtua', then click on 'age', from there you can grab the torrent file.

 

got the series on dvd, what i really want is the rest of the series...i only have em on tape. /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif

 

isn't there any other torrent file or irc channel to get this anime? because the torrent from Boxtorrent you need to upload the same amount you download (5.3 GB) :-(

I' ve got now the episodes 1 to 20 ,hmmmm not a bad anime based on a fighting game.Very "deja vu" but still fun to watch.

 

yeah, if anyone has the second season, please let us know. (it was never released on dvd)

 

I'm using the torrent from isohunt. It's a 5.3GB file. It has 24 episodes in it. I don't know if that's one season or two.

I'm up to almost 87% percent right now (and I've uploaded about 10gb of it in the last few days). Currently 46 peers and 0 seeds.

The Virtua Fighter anime ran for two seasons, comprising 35 [thirty-five] episodes in total. Season One, which revolved around the fight against the Koenkan, has 24 [twenty-four] episodes. The remaining 11 [eleven] episodes made up the shorter though more action-packed Season Two, which introduced an organization bent on destroying the best fighters in the world. The series' US distribution rights were acquired by Media Blasters.

i saw 4 episodes after season one a looong time ago when it was first being fansubbed and it was indeed more action packed (actual game combos!). im still searching for a good sub of the remaining episodes.

 

I have limited experience with fansubs. The only other thing I've gone after is Initial D. I've read that some subbers won't work on titles that have US distribution.

The downside to this is when the licensing group doesn't do as good of a job as the fansubbers. Or, as in the case of Toykopop and Initial D, they totally fuck everything up by changing the story line to fit "American tastes."

Hopefully this doesn't happen with the VF Anime.

BTW About week ago I download episodes 1-24 from torrents, all DVD quality, jap/eng volume, implemented subs (can be turn of). nice quality, but more than 5 GB
