Virtua Fighter arcade games,emulated yet?

Hey,I was wondering if the first 2 Virtua Fighter games were available on any arcade emulator yet,I don't think they are but...sometimes there's like underground sites that no one knows about.I'd say you'd need an insane system to run it,but you never know.I think if there was a rom of the first two,people could play on-line like people do with the early Street Fighters on the Callus emulator.Any feedback would be appreciated.C-ya.

there has been work on both VF1 and VF2 emulation but
I don't know the exact status of either project.

good graphics......
can play VS battles online.....

bad music though..esp Jeffery's stage...all I hear is waves......ANNOYING

I have VF2 for the PC...not a bad job at all.
I like the recording aspect. Verr' sweet.

No one will play with me online though. sniff.
Well, that's not entirely true. I have had a
couple of games and some were very good but the
lag can certainly kill the fun.

Best game I ever had was with a fellow from
Belfast. Almost no lag(!!) and a good player.

Hmm, well, I have VF2 PC, a nice computer now as well as a nice internet connection (when I get back to my apartment anyways)... Would be fun to try it out.

I'm really surprised that you had a match with little lag against someone in Belfast!

 

all this talk of online vf2 as if it has never been even thought of before! i mentioned it in a thread just the other day, and only got one reply! so, i repeat: i'll play ya if anyone's up for a game

 

I was contemplating calling you on your offer but
the only really lag free game I played was the one
in Belfast. Sometimes its a complete pain in the
bum! The Bum!

However I am always willing to give it another shot.

Chanchai: Yes, keyboard! But I'll tell you I got
quite adept at it. I could even perform m-double
palm combos and 1/2 spod with Akira! The biggest
problem was always not being able to capitalize
on certain scenarios (stagger combos or low throws)
because of sudden lag. ugh. Fun though.

All this VF2 talk. Making me giddy! Must bust
out the Saturn!

heh. my fault. I meant that I've only had one
lag free game. That the odds aren't good for
two people playing VF2PC with any degree of
accuracy simply becuase of the vagaries of
net play.
