Virtua Fighter for PC

Where can I get virtua fighter for pc?

 

I got mine off Amazon.

Doesn't start up though.

Do you speak of Virtua Fighter I or II for the PC?

 

I'm pretty sure only VF2 came out on PC, but I could be wrong though.

 

Both VF1 and VF2 came out for PC.

I think VF1 on PC was actually Virtua Fighter Remix though.

 

Try the Direct3D patch that was released for VF2 for the PC. Should work then (and start it in Win95 or Win2000 compatibility mode).

 

How is the PC port of VF2? Was it based off the Saturn port or the arcade?

 

The PC port isn't a bad one; it can be seen as polished up Saturn port with D3D features. The backgrounds are surely not from the Arcade version as they miss the details.

 

all things considered the PC port is capable. It suffers from all the faults of the saturn conversion but it still a lot of fun.

The online component is quite playable within limits but I've played people in Boston and New York with some excellent results.
