Lots of characters=nearly impossible to balance, and the two-characters per installment plan seems to be working fine.

I'm a born and bred Tekken fan and I don't like where it's going. Damned if I think doing nine-hit bounce juggles through walls for 3/4s bar damage is an improvement.

I stopped watching after he said "that's what makes Mortal Kombat a great series" (or whatever he said).

Outfoxd, the 3/4-of-your-lifebar combos dont bother me as much as the 100%-lifebar-combos.

 

I was sure he was going to complain that VF demands depth perception, and his one eyed hairdo made playing VF impossible.

 

I watched this for 1:59 and stopped when I realized that giving this nimrod 2 whole minutes of my life is three more than I'm comfortable with.

Virtua Fighter could use some more characters.

 

Wrong. There are already enough characters. Learning the quirks and defending against other characters just to get competent vs. them is IMO the most or one of the most tedious things in the whole game. Just b/c people are used to playing fighting games only on a superficial level, they should not be demanding that every game tickle their shallow fancy by giving them a ton of superfluous characters that they can play poorly.

 

So, add "kids", add a ton of characters and you've got the major advancement! Bullshit!
I wanted to kill the guy, not for what he said, but for how he was "ranting" and how he looks. Fuuuuuuuuuckiiiiiiiin' Eeeeeeeemooooooooo taaaaaaakiiiiiiin' foreeeeeeveeeeer to saaaaay anythiiiiiiiiin'.
I'm not as mad about his statements about VF (who wouldn't want a bit more chars... on the other hand, I don't care) as I am about him stating that "Tekken 6 is gonna be a huge advancement from Tekken 5". I mean, come on! We've seen the videos and read about it. There are bound combos, there "I'm fucking pissed" mode and that's it! It's almost the same (no hate, that's simply true!).
Ahhhh.... whatever.
Most of all I just regret watching the video, ruined my fucking day, pissed me off as hell.

EDIT: I didn't say anything about MK, cause I don't even consider it a fighting game. For me, it's as close to VF, as Sacred (i.e.) is to Oblivion or Fallout...

 

made it to 3 min the I skiped to a part where he said VF5 was garbage and stopped watching. If I ever see this guy he might not look the same if you catch my drift.

T6 is hardly an improvement from T5DR. it really plays much like T5DR 0.5! VF5 feels like it's a real improvement over vf4FT.
