    when should i turn it on to see you play, and what should i expect from that twitch channel?

    and is there a way to let twitch.tv send me a mail if a channel i'm following is starting to stream something? i don't see the point in following a channel if not for the merely purpose of letting the dude/chick who's streaming know how many people are watching his/her show

    I apologize for not keeping this up-to-date. Since the new forums do not allow countdown timers that was used in the past, the upcoming events/ twitter feed / and status updates are likely the best way to find out what streams are currently happening for now.
