If it comes out for the Xbox and the PS4, I wonder what system will have the most players and the superior netcode.. I'll straight up buy an Xbox One just for this game if that's where the main player base and better netcode ends up.

It's a usual thing that website put 31 December as placeholders for games that still don't have official release dates.

Honestly I refrain from getting hyped until we know more. I have been burned enough many times in the past.

Considering the ps4 is outselling the XBone by 3-1 and XBox has no presence in Japan, you can bet the majority of players will be on ps4.

Prev game VF5FS Complete (with all dlc) was approx 4gb on PS3.

I could be wrong, but I believe FS was capped at 720p which would account for the smaller file size. They were also limited by the 360 which had a max file size at the time.

Nowadays 720 isn't going to cut it so it's possible the new file size is just for the new higher resolution files of 1080p or maybe even 4k. PS3 games were also compressed which is why you had to install them after downloading and patches never came with the game.

I don't want to be a downer, but it's possible we are getting the exact same game with higher resolution assets. Let's not get our hopes up too much until we see what Sega has to offer.
