      Well the fact that some of you, didn't find the lag that bad, or experience much lag in Tekken 7 or SF5 is good.

      But the thing is, there were complaints even back then, long before covid, and before the whole silly rollback bandwagon rants, about dropped inputs and lag in Tekken 7 and SF5. And even when Max and other influencers, semi ranted about it, it didn't stop gamers, from playing both of those games online, from back then to now. That is the point I'm making.

      But anyway, I don't want to throw this dlc topic off topic.

      Well, you're not wrong. If somehow Tekken 8 came out tomorrow with the same delay based netcode, I would expect people to still play it - it is Tekken after all. VF unfortunately isn't at Tekken levels of popularity right now, particularly not in the west.

      I think a better comparison would be the Samurai Shodown series, which also took a ten year vacation. SNK brought Samurai Shodown back to life in 2019 with delay based netcode before covid hit, and it did fine for it's time although nobody is really still playing it now. However if the exact same game was released today in 2022 with the same netcode, it would have been universally ignored.

      SNK's latest game KOF15 has excellent rollback netcode.

      VF5US has by far the worst netcode. SF5 and T7 aren't perfect but netcode works way better than VF5US there is no even debate here and it's not even close, and MK11 is even better than both T7 and SF5, and GGxrd is the best of all when it comes to netcode, of course this one has its issues as well when it comes to matchmaking, but pur netcode wise it's amazing.

      VF5US is not even mediocre, it's really bad, i personally put its netcode below SF4 and almost at level of Tekken 6's netcode which was very bad, and those games were release on 2009.

      I just thought about it…. The last DLC with Yakuza costumes was limited and you couldnt even separate the items much less change the color on them… why would you pay 10$ again to be handcuff to what Sega feels?! They need to be fixated on adding the rest of the items and costumes from FS to the lot. No wonder Sega failed as a whole.. look at the shit they do. Everything other than what the FANS want. We talking about DLC and the whole topic was derailed to Netcoding and where the game ranks in the fighting community because of hitsparks….. Look at what Sega did to us…. Turned the VF community thought process in the their own. Focusing on everything else but the Subject matters

      I'm not sure, but I've heard VF5FS already had a complete port during the time period it was added as an option in the Yakuza games and Judgment game. We should have gotten all customization as part of the first DLC for VF5US.:cautious:

      Recall that customization in its entirety was sold as the initial DLC for VF5FS.

      Its not that RGG/Sega lacks the budget or time to give us the customization from VF5FS. These customizations were done some time ago. The goal is to squeeze every penny they can out of us through the process of giving us the VF5FS customizations a drip and a drop at a time.(n)

      We should have had all of the customization from VF5FS before we got Yakuza skins and definitely before we get Virtua Fighter x Tekken skins.:mad:

      Aoki Seiji wants to turn VF into a live service where they can milk us for all they can and nickel and dime us to death by holding hostage the customization from VF5FS:censored:

      :holla::holla::holla::holla: RGG and Aoki-san why don't yall hold off on dem Virtua Fighter x tekken 7
      skins until we get all of the customization from VF5FS

      In fact , before giving us Virtua Fighter x Tekken 7 skins why don't you give us Sparring Mode from VF5FS and License Mode from VF5FS

      BTW RGG & Aoki-san now that @SDS_Overfiend1 brings up hit sparks again

      Before you give us Virtua Fighter x Tekken 7 skins give us an option to turn those Mutha-FN Hit-Sparks-For-Beginners off :ROTFL:

      They don't care that much, since their main targeted demographic audience was always Japanese VF players like how it was in arcades and it's still like that even in PS4, because a small region like Japan with high speed connection and a large active online VF community; it isn't a big deal to have delay based netcode compared to the rest of big world for them that struggles with netcoding lol

      SEGA priority is Japanese VF audience.

      From now on they just gonna keep milking people with silly costumes, BGM, and stickers that cost money instead of being free in the game or large bundle at least like VF5FS one.

      Milking is ok but other franchises always fix their games and gives cool stuffs while sending new dlc that doesn't take one million year to be released after the reveal...

      I can't understand why Sega doesn't command someone for fixing the awfull animation of Pai chan's stage horses or give us wifi/région indicator... Such management disaster...

      If only Elon Musk was a fan of VF....

      I wonder what each character's stage theme will be. Here's my guesses:
      Akira = Mishima Dojo 1st (Obviously)
      Pai = Jungle Outpost 2 (Moment of Impact)
      Lau = Dragon's Nest 1st
      Wolf = Arctic Snowfall 1st
      Jeffry = Kitsch Remix
      Kage = Vermillion Gates 1st
      Sarah = Mishima Building (Metallic Experience 1st). (Hopefully, this part happens)
      Jacky = Twilight Conflict 2 (Any Twilight Conflict theme without a doubt)
      Shun = Infinite Azure 1
      Lion = Duomo Di Sirio
      Aoi = Abandoned Temple (A U N 1st)
      Lei Fei = Cave of Enlightenment 1st
      Vanessa = Jungle Outpost 1st
      Brad = Island Paradise 1st (Probably)
      Goh = Brimstone and Fire 1st
      Eileen = Forgotten Realm 1st
      El Blaze = Arena (Attack on Rhythm 1st)
      Taka = Howard Estate (Soy Sauce for Geese 1st). (Possibly)
      Jean = Violet Systems 1st (Possibly)

      What I think about this is this:
      Akira = Kazuya (Obviously)
      Aoi = Asuka (Possibly Kazumi)
      Brad = Bryan (Which would be awesome!)
      Eileen = Josie (She might end up as Lucky Chloe, but she looks more like Josie)
      El Blaze = Armor King (Which is super awesome!)
      Goh = Dragunov (Without a doubt)
      Jacky = Lee (Maybe Law or Paul instead, but Lee seems more fitting to me)
      Jean = Jin
      Jeffry = Marduk
      Kage = Yoshimitsu
      Lau = Heihachi (Obviously)
      Lei Fei = Feng
      Lion = Leo
      Pai = Xiaoyu (Without a doubt)
      Sarah = Nina (Without a doubt. Though I hope they don't put her in the wedding dress!)
      Shun = Lei
      Taka = Ganryu (Though, I personally like Bob's costume more than Ganryu's)
      Vanessa = Katarina (Possibly Master Raven)
      Wolf = King

      An interesting thing is that I actually came up with the idea of a Tekken collab DLC right after the Yakuza pack came out. I'm so happy to see that it's actually happening!

      I haven't played enough T7 to compare, but I wouldn't call VF5US netcode 'good' by any stretch, unless this was pre-rollback era.

      :ROTFL: quality of netcode is all a matter of perspective.:LOL:

      If you're winning , then netcode ranges from okay to good
      If you're losing then netcode sucks

      If you can easily rank up then netcode ranges from okay to good
      If you can't get past a certain rank then the netcode sucks

      If you can pull off your evades ,carry your combos then netcode ranges from okay to good.
      If you can't pull off your evades or you drop your combos then netcode sucks.

      If you thought you were going to lose, but won then netcode ranges from okay to good
      If you thought you were going to win, but you lost, then netcode sucks

      If your frame math works out then netcode ranges from okay to good
      If the frame math doesn't add up then netcode sucks

      But as all the disciples of my Dead Duck Broken Wing school of Kung Fu will tell you:

      The real killaz will take you out lag or no lag.:cool:

      This is completely false! I play both. In Tekken 7 i am able to play with even west europe smoothly while in VF5US i have lag even within my region or near countries.

      There is no comparison between outdated completely delay based netcode and roll-back netcode that got updated many times and improvement every season in Tekken 7 unlike VF5US who even didn't fixed the ranks after Akira bug demotion caused to many players let alone connection with almost dead play time most of the day in the west.
