Virtual On Force Set For Xbox 360
Sega bringing over four player arcade title with plenty of multiplayer options, including four-way split screen play.

Sega's been teasing a new game announcement over in Japan. As always, that announcement may have been spoiled a bit early by magazine leaks.

It looks like the big surprise is a new entry in the Virtual On series. Following up on the well received Xbox Live Arcade port of Virtual On Oratorio Tangram, Sega will next bring Virtual On Force to the 360.

Retail release for this game and not an XBL title. No international release announced yet. No word on Hori Twin Sticks being made again.

Man I would have never guessed that announcement was for a new Virtual On game, i'm stunned [IMG]

EDIT: I knew that V on day 5 of the countdown was suspicious, had my hopes up they was announcing FS or R... never thought of Virtual On.

The fact that it's a full on retail title really surprises me. Man I want to know what 2 on 2 will be like, has potential for sure haha.

Looks fantastic. I wud have never thought Virtual On wud get a console release (full retail!) before another VF hits. How ironic.

If memory serves me right this game pretty much killed Virtua On in the Arcades. I was a bit broken (no delay after a dash) and the ranking and item system was all messed up.

This is one port i'm hoping isn' arcade perfect.

I thought Force was pretty popular and that Marz was the one that killed Virtual On.

As far as i know it was Force. Marz was an awful console exclusive for PS2. Basically a poor port of Force with an added single player story mode.
