Myke, this should be front paged. VF5 getting in the World Cyber Games is only the start of what would happen for VF blowing up here in the states. I think WCG is looking for a truly competitive game that has online (for qualifiers), so that they can replace DOA. That is why both this and SC4 were added now and not before. If they can replace DOA, I'm sure they'd be happy to. Let's satisfy their desire (and ours - you can get in from Aus)!

 

Ha nobody likes DOA we all agree it's a fun game to F' around with but it's nothing to play competitively.

I'm not voting because SCIV and DOA4 don't even come second (nor do I want to give my email).

 

SCIV I could see as second, but yeah worldcybergames, not the biggest fan. Part of me would love to see VF there but part of me doesn't even want them to represent it lol.

 

Even if we have to vote for all those other genres it's worth voting for all of them just so we can get ours. Oh yeah I voted.

sebo i dont know what u mean bro, the majority of those games are the best from their genre, starcraft: brood war is the greatest RTS game to date, followed by warcraft3 no other RTS games come close.

The RPG's that are on the list are probably chosen because of their focus on multiplayer and have a big backing by their creaters like blizzard who even hosts giant world tournaments themselves for their game world of warcraft.

CS pretty much has the most gamers for it out of any game anywhere in the world and 1 of the biggest progamer scenes out of any game which is probably the main reasons why its still around.
