Just tested out the Hori Fighting Stick 3 and the VSHG on a 1.70 PS3 playing a PS2 game.

The good news is that the VSHG worked and worked well. The bad news is that the Hori Fighting Stick 3 didn't work at all.

I mainly tested it out on Soul Calibur 3 since other PS2 fighting games weren't available at the time and place I tried it out. (Wow, they really changed the game... first time I played SC3).

Supposedly, PS2 to USB adapters work better than before, in this firmware. I certainly hope so for the sake of the Bemani fans and what not. Can someone else test this?

I just tested the vshg on vf4evo and kofxi, both of them work /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

edit: hrap1 (with ps2 to usb adapter) works on ps2 games but not on vf5. it still requires the "analog" button to activate the digital stick.

Actually VF5 accepts only anolog signals and because of this we cant use our Digital/old arcade sticks with a usb adapter. The problem is other sticks are digital and VF5 needs an analog signal. Notice when you use the DS you have to press the anolog button to switch to analog mode a signal VF5 only understands. The ps3 needs a strong signal or a converter type adapter to make digital and analog work respectivly. I am sure this can be easily fixed through a firmware update which could either give us the option to switch between dig/analog or implement the option in future games especially fighting games.
