VSHG: To Mod or Not to Mod?

Hey VF.com.

This is my first post here since I'm still really new to VF. I played VF3 on SEGA, but that's about it.

Anyways, I'm writing here because I have a VSHG, but I only got it to play 2D fighters on my PS3. Well now I'm starting to get into VF5, but I have a problem. I'm assuming that the XBOX360 version is better because it has Version C, Online Play, and a Larger Community. Correct me if I'm wrong on this. So what I'm wondering is, should I mod my stick or get a second stick and mod it for XBOX360 since that's what most people play on offline? Are there any other options like a converter?
