Unfortunately we didn't get to save any replays. The matches were so intense that we just hit start immediately.

 

We do have one match saved. The deciding set between Flash and myself.

There were so many good players there, and it was such a good time. I learned a lot. Great seeing and playing you like always, Yupa (and everyone else)--see you in Jan. for the next Jaxel? I wish I had the chance to stay over with the VF scene a bit more (I made it much further in the SC tournament, so I didn't have much time to casual after I was done).

I gotta start playing this game--and stop using a pad. I promise not to be up 2-0 in a deciding match and lose it (good shit Chefboy)...

i just want to say thanx to everyone for attending the tournament and for coming to my afterparty. i must say, this is the most fun i've ever had for VF! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif had everyone made it, we would've had a SOLID and complete 32-man bracket. it was a pretty close fight between me and adam, and it was even closer between me and jerky. I'LL GET YOU NEXT TIME ADAM!!! >=O there were MANY awesome matches in this tourney, but i must say, the most memorable fight for me had to be between me and jerky...oh god was that good. i almost had a heart attack. jerky's offense and defense is just off the hook. i wanna give special props to shag for displaying his best performance by far, and to linkrkc for stepping up his game.

the afterparty was awesome as well. i had over 25 people in my basement at one point with 6 set ups! i made sure to take pictures, and i will post them as soon as i get home from work. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

like i do in any major gathering, i learned a lot...

Link showing with Sarah after placing in NJ a few weeks ago implies that you can do well with a "low tier" character. Tiers aren't seperated by much in VF.
