Way to see ping before you join games?

Anyway to tell how good the connection is before joining a match? Thanks.

 

there are telephone signal bars next to the players name. From grey with zero bars all the way to bright green with 3 bars. The bright green ones will give you the best connections.

 

yep, if you select quick match or optimatch, the game will que up to three opponents for you (push left or right to see them). beside each name you will see a connection meter with bars and colour oding indicating connection quality. bright green = best, brown = worst.
