Weekly Lei Power Rankings? O.o

somethin vf#### cooked up... I thought it sounded fun and could possibly give us motivation to compete harder...
I'm not exactly sure how he wanted to do the numbers, but I imagine we'd have to kind of keep track of our win/loss ratios vs eachother over the weekend...

 

lol--this is actually pretty good except 4 i'd always be last and not wanna play

well, i was thinking, we need some sort of baseline you know? like some sort of basis for comparison and standard.
So I figure hey, why don't we just define *my* power rating as "over nine thousand" and then we could determine what the other lei's scores are in relation to that standard.

(i really hope someone catches the reference)

So, here is my idea. We'll put cozby at the top, and all hate him. then from there, the rest of us will battle it out for the remaining spots.

I'll be the first to post up. I think these standings will change from week to week, if not day-to-day. But purely from this weekends action (even tho i only played coz the coz once) i'm posting up my rankings as such:

Wasted Wish
VF5935
Linz/Social (not sure how you guys fair agianst one another)

But i'm sure in subsequent wks VF5395 will leapfrog me back to his usual spot @ 2nd in the pack.

Okay, this ranking will be based on my overall perception of the scene over the last??? however long its been. And this is purely from the perspective of versus me, so you guys can squabble against eachother over the validity of this /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

And this doesn't take into acct players such Juno, menace, rodnutz, rikojjang, who aren't online enough to get any games against.

 

actually... i went about even with vf#### and didnt get to play social or coz...
this was more intended to start next weekend tho..

Note to the moderater who moved the thread:
The moderaters on this site do a wonderful job of keeping everything organized by category and threads adequately named. it is much appreciated. But sometimes a thread like this (at least to me) seems it was well-placed in the lei-fei dojo. The dojo, for many of us monk enthusiasts, is like a sub-community in the larger community, and our thoughts, ideas, theories, and occasional peripheral caveats on lei fei are well suited to be handled within this sub-community. (note: where they can be easily referenced and followed without taking up space in the greater/more vague/more populated general forums or xboxlive areas of the site). It is in many ways a living, breathing, evolving sub-forum for us to discuss all aspect of lei fei, and track our progresses. (see the evolution of combos from the necessary to the periphary of whats possibly--4x wall bounce).

Well thats just my thoughts on it, and perhaps anarchy and complete disorganization would render this site useless if unbiased 3rd parties didn't moderate such placements. lol, but i thought this thread was better dwelling in the dojo.

That being said, thank you again to the moderaters who keep this site the well-oiled working machine it is. We all appreciate you and the hard/tedius work you do behind the scenes so that we can all love and enjoy this community on a daily basis.

lol its not that big of a deal... this is less of a dojo thing and more of a matchmaking thing. That aside...

i prefer to be last on the list gotta be the underdog since u guys all whoop me LOL. I guess we just play each other during the weekends best 2 out 3 matches then add up our wins/losses and determine our lei power rankings

I originally changed my face to be the pissed off angry face signifying i was in a rage until i passed master. i have finally surpassed master and went to change the face but then thought "if htis is the mindset that got me here, maybe i should keep it." so i haven't changed it. thoughts?

 

change it to /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif that aside 1. cozby. 2. smb 3. linzhoumin 4. social ruin 5. vf5395(runs cold most of the time to study opponent or maybe im just confused)

current stats:

social ruin: bout 10 games, went pretty much dead even

wasted wish: linz: about 8, wasted: about 3

note: counting mirror match lei games only

 

this weekend ya i went even with linz. went even with wasted wish --in his own house no less. Was destroyed by vf but it was his brad so it don't count any more than vs. linz' lau. Went even versus coz and vf's lei, on account of the fact i played neither. So all told i had a decent weekend. I'd say the tie breaker goes to me for beating my brother at his house, AND i beat him @ pool on his new table that he won't shut up about. Yay me.

 

i should be last lol i did lose to linz also. i just got back to master after faliin to 8th dan like 2 or 3 days ago

 

Thats total fabrication Social Ruin. He destroyed me every single match we played of VF5 i didn't win one, but he DID NOT beat me at pool, never, ever, never, never, never. I DENY this.
