Weird positioning on pop-up/launch attacks?

Hi all. In my countless matches, I have come across a weird positioning situations where sometimes, I can't pinpoint when it occurs exactly but the opponent switches to the other side, even though I haven't side-stepped before attacking. For example, I main Akira so sometimes I would pop up the opponent with Youhou or Knee, do a couple standing punches or 6+k, p, DLC and I find on the last part of the DLC (body check) the opponent suddenly switches sides and is now on the 1P side. It looks really weird since it doesn't make any sense as all the attacks should just be pushing the opponent forward. I am not certain if thats how I pulled it off before but I do remember that it often happens in a launch situation and that it happens on the last hit of the DLC. So is this a glitch in the juggle properties of VF5FS? Or is it meant to happen but I just don't understand what causes it. Thanks.

You talking about Akira warping through people, like after [6][6][6][P]> [2][P]> DLC connects? Not sure what causes the warp but it happens pretty consistently vs lightweights with that combo. Doesn't seem to be stance related so I guess it's down to distance.

[K]+[G](max charged)[P] and other moves are capable of doing it too, i've even had a backturned [2][P] go right through a rising attack after warping through an Aoi with [6][6][6][P]> [2][P]> DLC
