Western Canada VF players?

Hey, I want to make a list of active gamertags from western Canada...

It's pretty dead in the west. There's a few VF players in Vancouver, but I question if they still play the game. I was there for a bit, and while they did play games, things never really took off.

Honestly, I'd recommend playing Tekken instead. Both provinces actually have players for that game.

Nah, I'll pass on the tekken. I was just asking to see if their were any players in my area. I can always just play online VF5.

Anyhow you do look pretty desperate with all the posts you've been making everywhere, pretty much saying the same thing, I don't blame you though with the catastrophe that SFIV has unleashed to the already ghost town of VF. True. Though I think online play probably will be playable, like SF4 online, when Bloodline Rebellion hits console this fall.

I have alot of locals for TEKKEN DR.. full green bars sometimes.. but still.. Its hard to react to lows and throws.. At least with VF, u can break throws...by yomi. lows do way too much damage in TEKKEN..
dont get me wrong I LOVE TEKKEN.. i still play it ... but, im just gonna wait for BR to come out, ps3 dr... I hate not using lows out of respect ( the launcher ones... ).... Or not being able to throw because its "ETIQUITE".

mackfactor ps3 ( PLZ no throwing or stupid lows that i cant react on reaction< BRYANS LOW SWEEP that nebody can react to offline, but not online, unless its FULL GREEN BARS..lol)
I main lei and nina.. but i can play about way more characters pretty decently. Im not pro but i would say im pretty good

I like the fact that lows are more usable in Tekken. It's a nice contrast from VF. Also, lows don't do that much damage in the game, if you consider that a launcher without a wall can lead to half-life combos (e.g. Devil Jin).

I don't play Tekken. I might buy Tekken 6 when it comes out.

 

ya ill buy tekken too. since i love tekken... but its hard to take tekken seriously now that i play vf

I made this thread six months to a year ago kid... dont get too excited. and I only listed you because your the only other person who plays from calgary I've ever seen.

 

I hear ya. I was going to mention that Impact Finale guy, but he doesn't play anymore. Even then, I don't think he took it as seriously.

 

Motorcity jacky is from calgary as well I believe.

 

he is in Calgary. I don't know if he comes on much anymore though.
