What are Kages item?

Hi, i just signed up and im guessing this has been asked alot but i really need to know. I play it when im at my friends place and my Kage is 1st Dan. My friend has a 2nd Dan Lei Fei but i only have 1 item for Kage and thats the arm brace thing. Its like a black band with spikes on it. I have a bunch of new constumes but i cant seem to get any more items for him. How do i obtain them? Please, i really need to know. Thank you.

Is there a simpler way to get Kage's short sword because I really want to get it for my Kage? (Intercepte)

P.S. how do you change that thing at the side of the screen on this forum that says "stranger" /versus/images/icons/grin.gif or "journeyman" or whatever, please tell me!
