What is fuzzy guard

    It basically means crouching and standing backup all while holding guard. The idea is to duck under a throw attempt, but get back up fast enough to block a possible mid attack. As for an actual explanation of how/when to apply it, I'm not sure I could explain that in writing very well... vids make it easy, if you know what you're looking at.

    Look at your character's movelist. When you see moves between -3 and -6 frame disadvantage, that's when you fuzzy guard. On -6, you have crouch dash instead of just tapping down while holding guard.

    You can practice this in Dojo mode. Set the CPU to do a mid or a throw after blocking a move. Then do a move with the frame disadvantages mentioned above and fuzzy. It takes time, so be patient.
