What is your Display Name for your Fighter?

For my Aoi i labelled her CRACK! (because of all her moves that break bones /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif)

For my Akira: Milk. ..... I dont know why,
I remember in Quest mode, fighting a 9th dan Pai whose name was Pai=3.1415 lol

What is some of your most creative and clever display names for your VF fighter?

 

Bakemono kindda own on Goh (bakemono = monster)
and I play my Akira totally red, so I've named him: AkaiBushi = RedWarrior

guess that's it /versus/images/graemlins/confused.gif

 

My lei-fei's name is:

\m/(~~)\m/

supposed to be:
\m/(~_~)\m/

but that didn't fit /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif

 

Wolf - 'SwingKing' (Obviously, after the giant swing)

Jeffry - 'Ocean Man' (After the song which is stuck my head - I'm planning to do a Jeffry vid to this song)

Queen Pai=Pai w/ crown
Azure Pai=Blue
Orange Pai=Orange
Panda Pai/Panda Fan=Panda Mask and Mini Panda
Evil Pai/Ugly Pai=Chinese Lion Mask and Opera Make-up
Golden Pai=Gold & Yellow
Purple Pai=Purple

Waiting for our flight from Logan Airport in Boston after the recent tourney there I picked up a bunch of pre & inflight readingfodder. One of the things that caught my eye at the little gift shop was this book called Krakatoa: The day the earth exploded.

A geologist by trade, the author peeked into what seemed every cultural and scientific nook and cranny posed by the rather significant geological events of summer, 1883 in Indonesia. The spice trade...the birth of the stock market...worldwide communication via telegraph...anti-western Islamic fundamentalism. The book was sweeping and pinpoint all at the same time, perhaps too much so.

But then again, the explosion that sent this island, wholly, into the air and sea was so loud that 12,000 miles away off Cuba a fisherman claimed to have heard what sounded like the report of naval artillery in the distance. Two thousand miles away a woman walking on a boatdock and was swept out to sea in the wave from the blast. Worldwide and for years the dawns and sunsets were spectacular.

When we got home, I was just haughty enough to name my Jeffry "Krakatoa". I suppose he's coming along.

As usual though when my mouth runs on...the book isn't "the day the earth exploded", it's "the day the world exploded". An important difference, really.
