What Music Do You Listen To While Playing VF

I just posted a thread about NIN's new album, which made me think of another topic.

What music do you guys listen to while playing VF?

Here's my list- White Zombie, Cannibal Corpse, Beastie Boys, Del Tha Funky Homo Sapien, Nine Inch Nails, Scott H Biram, Radiohead, Type O Negative, Crystal Method, Ween, Megadeth, Tool, Perfect Circle, The Doors, Led Zepplin, Nirvana, Alice In Chains, Mindless Self Indulgence, Yesterday's New Quintet, Madlib, Morphine, Pink Floyd-- and more..

I also listen to a lot of techno while playing--- mainly drum and bass- (Hive and Dieselboy are my favorites)

 

I don't normally listen to music whilst playing fighting games, even the ingame music is too much.

Sometimes when i'm drunk i'll play some music though, any type of metal is good especially Strapping Young Lad. Other than that, whatever's on my hard drive...Opeth, Tool, Ruins, Crash Test Dummies, Koenjihyakkei.

I dont listen music when playing VF, I tend to lose if I cant hear battle sounds. Sometimes when im in dojo practising.

 

You can turn off music and still have sound effects on.

 

The in-game music. Even if I hate the tune of some stage I can't play (any game) without the original music, it throws me off.

If I'm fighting someone who is really making me work I turn on the in-game music. Otherwise I just have the laptop next to the monitor playing my collection.

It's funny some of you guys say that you prefer the sound effects or in game music. I actually adjust the sound effects so they are barely audible, and then play music from my I-Pod!!

The in game music? CMON people!!!! The only time I listen to the in game music is when I am too lazy to plug in my IPod.

 

you gotta hear the sound effects. That helps when you're hit checking. Counter hits make a different noise than normal hits.

I rock my Ipod now that I reolized how to make it work with my 360. The pod rocks the Jazz colletion I have and my anime collection. There is also an collection of all the guilty gear tracks on that so it depends on who I'm playing and my mood at the time. Most often I'm rocking out to my jazz.

 

im usually blasting coldplay, bad brains, fishbone, jimi, or some perceptionist R.A.G.E. whatever and even music i created in some cases.

 

Usually Tool. The rhythms help me focus a little better.

In some fighters i turn the ingame music off and turn on my own, but i love the music in VF ^^

 

I cycle through the various VF ost's of yesteryear.

I tend to play a track indicative to when the other person and I started playing VF. (i.e VF1 track vs Godeater)
