What r the changes from EVO ver. A to ver. B ?

    Hi peeps, i'm sorry if this topic was posted already as i cant find in in the archives. So can anybody tell me what r the changes btw the two versions?

    Depends on which character you are talking about, maybe you'd like to be more specific?

    The only all-encompassing change I can think of is that the 3rd punch of any [P][P][P] string in Ver.A is a force guard, i.e. you cannot interrupt the 3rd punch with a low attack if you've blocked the first 2 hits of the string. Its no longer so in Ver.B, which is a good thing since scrubs can no longer do [P][P][P] all day.

    Hmm, i use jacky and if u have any info on changes wrt him, that'll be great.
    Of course if u have any updates on other popular characters i.e. akira, lei, that'll be even better. /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

    Two version B changes threads here and here.

    Here are jacky changes:


    JACKY

    no more forced guard between PPP hits.

    PPf+K, final hit fails to create a good float (?). I think this might mean you can only end floats with this move in a certain stance.

    PPf+P,P,K - recovery changed (worse).
    f+P,P,K recovery is changed (worse).
    PPf+P only a combo on MC and more punishable when blocked (I dunno if PPf+P was ever a combo in evo).

    The new df,df+K vertical kick does a hair less damage, easier to counter, float height is changed.

    kickflip damage reduced 6 pts.

    b+K+G reduced downtime for the opponent...


    Note that some changes were rushed out to the public and might not be translated perfectly or understood completely.
