Hey all, here's a quick fanfic I spewed up while bored. Its not much. I might do some more (I take request! lol). Anyways this is just a quick battle scene, I might do some charry development later. Well Enjoy. Tell me what you think.

Each gasp brought a heavy pain to his chest. Each time he raised his fingers it felt like lightning coursed through them. Lion’s hands and boots were covered in the glossy blood of his opponents wound. The lights of the caged arena beat down on him, making his vision blurry with sweat. To his opposite, bleeding heavily from his left side, an exhausted Wolf stood solidly, his face bent into a scowl, his arms up and ready. The dripping wounds that he adorned below his ribs were the result of Lion’s claws ripping deep into his flesh. Lion had been working that spot with as many kicks and strikes as he possibly could since he caused the wound, and Wolf in turn punished Lion’s chest with slaps and kicks that would send most men to the hospital, but not the worlds best.

The crowd had quieted in anticipation of the next volley of attacks. Lion wiped his forehead and quickly straightened himself into his signature Tourou-Ken “Mantis†style. Allowing a smile on his charismatic face, Lion shouted in the most callous and annoying voice he could muster, “Say “goodnightâ€Â, old man!â€Â

With a roar from the crowd Lion dashed forward flailing a well placed Shippo Shousenshu uppercut to Wolf’s chest. Wolf puffed his chest out, and a thump, audible even above the crowd, sounded as the blow connected. Wolf absorbed the hit into his massive frame, and grabbed Lion with an air tight squeeze.

“SCHWEIN!†Came a cheer from the crowd, and in a fluid motion Wold spun Lion into the air and into the hard arena floor with a satisfying crunch! Not slightly appeased yet, Wolf lifted Lion’s limp body from the floor and stood him up. The crowd roared as he flung Lion’s hand behind his neck, preparing for a “Smackdown Bottomâ€Â. Once again, Lion’s body went up into the air and down to the mat with another gut wrenching crunch.

Wolf climbed atop the kid and put a finger to his face, “Feel the real power!†The crowd roared, as Wolf rose, weary and triumphant. Foregoing his usual after the match wrestling banter to the audience Wolf exited quietly through the cage door as a medical team rushed to the fallen Lion. The usually peaceful, kindhearted wrestler had become ruthless by the end of the match. He couldn’t understand how even though he had won the match he continued to assault the boy. Wolf had come to save the world from the apocalypse not destroy the person he was.

Staggering his way down the hallway to his locker room, he batted aside a doctor who was trying to check his wound. He preferred to dress his own wound, and the diminutive Japanese doctor didn’t plan to tell him otherwise. After finally getting to his locker room, Wolf sat down on a bench and began wrapping his wound with treated bandages. The ambience of the crowd faded as he meditated on the new events surrounding the already shady 4th World Fighting Tournament.

Reply's a little late (lol), but I thought it was pretty good. You actually captured the feel of the battleground. It's good compared to other fan fics that I've seen. Keep up the good work. /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif

    Show me you're Kung Fu

Thanks a lot for the comments guys. Sorry it took so long for me to write this but I needed some inspiration. Watching Volcano High made me sad enough to do it. I might start working on the Akira vs Shun one if I get the chance. Well, anyways. Tell me what you think of it!

    Show me you're Kung Fu

Pai Chan flipped off her glasses, sighing in exasperation. Her opponent had yet to arrive and waiting in a temple courtyard for hours on end was not the way the starlet imagined spending her day. Though it wasn’t unpleasant sitting out on the arena’s edge on such a warm and sunny afternoon, she was ready for some action. The preliminaries had not been exactly fulfilling. In fact, they were disappointing to the point where she was winning without even breaking a sweat. All her competition so far had left her feeling that all her training was in vain, and she hoped to come upon a fight that would really worked her out before she fought her father.

Her father. It was for her father that she was entered in the tournament at all. She had to prove herself to him to carry on his legacy. She didn’t, however, give up perfect opportunity to be a supporting actress in the new Jacky Chan and Chris Tucker buddy flick to wait around some dusty old temple for a no show.

As she was about to rise to leave, a group of monks appeared in the hallway inside the temple. They were being lead by a man in a plain white cutoff top and blue pants and a bald head. Pai smiled at the stereotypical monk all. She had only seen them in kung fu movies, but seeing one in real life really made her smirk. That was until he reached the end of the temple hallway and stepped outside. Then she saw his eyes, black and cold with the glare of malice in them. She stopped smiling. The elder monks at his side who were all looking at the ground, wether in fear or in mourning, stopped at the doorway that lead into arena. The young monk continued into the arena, a wide smile on his angular face. “Greetings.†He said approaching her bowing his head with his fist in his palm.

“Greetings. I am Pai Chan.†She said mimicking his bow. “Are you my opponent?â€Â

“Yes, I am Lei Fei. Please forgive my lateness, we had to wait at the Hong Kong airport for our referee.†He nodded his head toward the door where a tall American gentleman in a black suit and tie was setting up a camera on a tripod. “So you are the daughter of Lau Chan, I presume?â€Â
She nodded, but of course Lei already knew that. He knew everything about the two and was glad he had to fight his daughter in the first rounds of the finals. Though there was a tingle in chest at the thought of fighting Lau here and now, Lei showed nothing. He was always patient.

Lei went into the ring and did some stretches, as did Pai until the referee was finished setting up the camcorder. He called them to the center of the stage when he was ready and in a deep voice in fluent chinese he explained the rules of the fight to them, “The fight begins when I say fight and will last until one of you is knocked from consciousness, pushed out of the ring or submits by either tapping out or saying it aloud. In the event of a double ring out there will be another match. Do you understand?†Both Pai and Lei nodded, and took a step back.

With a wide smirk on his face, Lei beckoned with his hand, “Show me your Kung fu.â€Â

“FIGHT!†Pai leaped into action, throwing three well placed punches then a low sweep, but each attack was dodged by the nimble monk, swiftly and easily. Without much thought, the monk move around her attacks, his eyes soaking in her elegant style. After a minute of this dodging game Lei decided her graceful punches and kicks were interesting, but not interesting enough to let this fight drown out the rest of the day. After ducking under a wide circular kick Lei dashed backwards and Pai stood still a moment expecting him to finally try and attack her. He stood there for a moment a feint smile on his face still.

“Well are you going to fight me, or do I have to beat you up by myself?†Pai wasn’t cocky as much as she was confused by her opponents tactics. Maybe if he would start up an offense she would be able to see the wholes in his, so far, invincible defense.

Suddenly Lei began to twirl and spin his hands and body, seemingly dancing through his many stances. Pai watched him for a moment, not really knowing how to attack a person who was moving in this way. Was he really good or was he just playing with her? Her heart began to speed up as his dance took up pace. She leapt forward, determined to knock him from his martial ballet. Her movement started as his stopped in an awkward hunched over position. Before she could even stop herself from moving forward, his fist had connect with her chest. She let herself fall backwards with the force of the punch, and quickly rolled once she hit the floor. She was back on her feet in an instant, clutching her chest and coughing a bit. Lei Fei gave her a moment to let the punch work its magic on her. He would have liked to see her give up after just that one punch. That would have made his day. Sadly, for her, she didn’t.

Pai straightened up, turning her back with one hand in the air. This was her Meishouho stance. Lei Fei approached cautiously edging up to her. She sprang into action, spinning her hands around in a circle, a perfect Gekiryuha. Lei stepped to the side before the attacks reached him, and that second before she could understand, in her flurry of attacks, that he was not in there anymore he kneed her in the stomach. And punched her in the side of her face. A futile attempt to bat him away from her with a swing of her arm was parried as Lei performed a lightning fast Kochouheki. She fell to the floor heavily and quickly from the force of the blow. She started to try and rise, dazed, with pain arching through her like electricity, but a foot came down on her back, sending all the air from her body.

“Daga!†Lei Fei laughed allowed, “You’re not bad, but I’m the better fighter.†He kicked her in the head again. The referee stood in front of the camera announcing, without much feeling, that Lei was the victor by knockout. He took out his cellular phone to call for the medical team. All of Lei Fei’s matches ended the same way, so he had the number on speed dial.

The monks watching from the temple doorway hung their heads even lower as Lei walked from the arena. He wondered if it was coincidence or set up that he would fight the girl. If it was set up, was it by the Chinese government or by J6. Either way it was a treat to see her fall into a bloody mess. He tingled with anticipation. He couldn’t wait to destroy Lau Chan and steal the secrets of his style.

    Another Fanfic!? Oh yeah!

Hey everyone. Here's something for all those Shun and Sarah fans out there. I'll start working on some more of the popular characters later hehe! Take this!

    American Sake!

The boat rocked back and forth, though it was steadily making its way up through the underground network of tunnels. The rowers, sweating profusely, hurried along their task, wanting to drop off their cargo, and escape the accursed tunnels of Gouka. Even the studious Sarah Bryant was spooked by the eerie gray place, unable to keep her seat at the center of the raft. She scanned the walls, looking at the many burning candles that lined the walls illuminating the dark waterways. She wondered what kind of creature she was being brought to fight. Shaking her head, and dismissing the thoughts as foolish she reached into the Gucci handbag she brought with her and pulled out a blue scrunchy.

Behind her, looking rather solid, and undisturbed by the setting the referee was sitting, arms crossed, a tripod and camera in his hands. Sarah had tried numerous times to flirt with him already, but as she put her hair back into a ponytail she half posed for him. “Do you understand the rules that I have provided you with?†He asked, clearly uninterested.. She sucked her teeth and spun back in the direction the boat was headed. She had been through the tournament twice before, of course she understood the tournament rules.

“Yeah, I think I can grasp it.†She sighed, “Are we almost there?†Before the referee could even answer the tunnel curved and revealed a large cavern with a steel cage set up in the middle of the lake. It was shabbily made for an arena of the prestigious tournament, with no ceiling or adequate coverage of the sides. The steel bars that stretched from the corners looked quite menacing, but as they pulled closer to the cage Sarah caught a glimpse of her opponent. She nearly burst out laughing when she viewed the frail old man layed up in the middle of the ring, a flask of sake in his hand. “This must be some sort of joke.†Sarah chuckled to herself as they neared the only entrance to the cage. She was lifted up by one of the rowers into the cage and the gate was slammed shut. She could smell the wine already, and the sounds of deep snoring filled the arena.
“I’m supposed to fight a drunk?†The body laid still, his beard rising and falling with his chest. “And a dead one at that!â€Â

“The match will begin when I say fight.†The referee called as he finished setting up the camera. He looked into it and announced the match, “This is Sarah Bryant versus Shun Di, at 2:37pm 27th of August.â€Â

Sarah rolled her eyes, “Maybe I should hold back a little.â€Â

“Fight!†With the referee’s call the body seemed to come to life, rising awkwardly. It was an old, almost decrepit, man with a long flowing beard and traditional Chinese clothing. He looked clean enough, more like a senile old coot than a drunk. He began stumbling side to side, mumbling to himself, and took a swig of drink from his bottle of wine. Sarah shook her head, deciding to make this as quick and painless as possible for the old man. Maybe a quick kick to the head. He’d wake up with one hell of a hangover though.

The seemingly inebriated Shun Di took another swig from the bottle which hung from a small rope at his hip, and Sarah dashed forward with a jumping knee. With the speed she came at him, one would have thought the match would have ended within the first 10 seconds of its starting, but Shun was surprisingly quicker than the knee, dipping to the side and head butting her in her side as she flew by. Sarah staggered to the side as she arched in pain from the unexpected blow. Shun’s hip sent her flying near the side of the arena with a wild scream.

“WAAA! NIAN-(hic)-QUINGREN!†Shun taunted in a slurry loud voice as he . Sarah recovered quickly, but not quick enough. Two feet connected with her chest nearly sending her sprawling through the rusty poles that made up the ring’s walls. With her body half hanging out of the ring Sarah managed to Gatling Kick the charging Shun Di before he pushed her completely out of the ring. Two kicks slapped both his sides and one across his face sent him sprawling backwards in agony. Sarah quickly pulled herself into the ring and advanced on Shun with a renewed respect for the drunken boxer.

A flash of kicks and punches were thrown at Shun, but wisdom conquered over her youth and agility as he began to tire the young girl out with his dodges and taunts. Sarah managed to keep up the quick pace for a while until she made her final mistake. A missed high spinning kick led to Shun wrapping his arms around the young girl and slamming her around in his arms until she was limp in his arms. One last shoulder ram pushed her back into the wall with a hard slam.

Sarah was on her feet and looking too stunned to defend herself from Shun’s next attack. Shun flung himself forward with the hardest headbutt he could muster, but Sarah was somersaulting high into the air before he reached her.

Seems the youth new a little bit about acting herself. Shun felt nothing but a sharp pain on his backside as he was sent flying out of the ring by Sarah’s boot.

    SPLASH!

    "Winner!"

Sarah quickly made her way to the edge of the ring and helped the splashing Shun back into the ring. Shun looked visibly disturbed, as the last hpe for looking for his student disappeared. Sarah didn’t understand. Breathing hard, she decided to give Shun some of her own wisdom to contemplate. “Hey, even the good guys blow it.â€Â
