lol... u are the one with the bad language, even before the first fight startet + u kick and jump on KO players (EVERY TiME!!!)... "unsporting" my friend... and THAT's the reason why i kicked u from my list... watch ur language and quit kickin' KO players... it's no offline battle between friends... its online and u had no clue wich person is on the other end...

Excuses people have when I beat them:

1) OMG YOU CHEAP DM P+K SPAMMING NOOB!!! WITHOUT DM P+K, I WOULD TOTALLY OWN YOU! LOL I love this one the most.

2) Lag: OMG if this was offline I WOULD BEAT YOU!!! LOL okay online lag affects me just as much as you guy. Plus it's hilarious when we have 3-4 bars and they've never complained about lag in previous matches.

3) You're style sucks! Um, okay...since when was I supposed to base my style on ur preferences? WTF?

4) Quit doing the same move over! LOL I kept on hitting this guy with Jacky's heel drop every time b/c he'd always get up with a rising attack and whiff. WTF? Am I just supposed to stand there and do nothing? Or this guy tries to evade every single move and I would spam beat knuckle over and over. I'll do it when it stops hitting you!!!

5) You suck! LOL wow, what does that make you since you lost to me? HAH!

Reasons why I've lost:

1) I suck lol. Plain and simple. I don't know much about strats or etegs or all that stuff...lol I just kinda do whatever. Sometimes it works, sometimes it don't.

2) xbox360 controller: I hate doing diagonal moves! It's so hard to find diagonal on the damn controller...sometimes I wanna crouch dash forward or dash back into a throw or do a diagonal throw escape or do a simple move that requires you to do either df or db, etc, I'm seriously taking a risk lol.

3) Lag

4) I joke around sometimes(like trying new dumb risky tactics)

5) I get disconnected.

 

My number one excuse is that vanessa is blind. Or at least severely myopic or colorblind or something, maybe it's the albino hair, dunno, but if i had a dime everytime her sabakis don't work against attacks they should/opponents sidestep semicriculars towards the wrong direction/she just punches the wrong way i'd be frickin rich.

Well, ok, not rich, but i think i could pay me a new xbox live subscription. Srsly, it happens that often.

That and getting CH after blocking things like OM /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, i call BS on that.

 

Just because both players have the same amount of latency does not mean both players are equally affected by the lag.

 

Dude, you're wasting your time, that guy's never wrong.

 

Even if he wouldn't admit to it, which I'm not saying he won't, it's still important that other people who read the thread don't take those words as a fact.

 

Excuses ppl made to me:
-Lag (Which its sometimes the case)
-Saying I use the same combos
-Say that Aoi is cheap
-Got lucky (Sometimes I do)
-I suck (Which I don't get since I won the match)
-I'm better than them
-I have no life (Haven't gotten that in VF5. But i have in other fighters lol)

Reasons I lose:
-Lag (Of course XP)
-I get frustrated (I tend to play bad when I am)
-The player is better than me
-I sometimes chance my moves
-Something wrong with the controller (my old one had sticky buttons and the new one i'm using has a stiff dpad. I'm hopeing to buy one of those SF4 pad controllers)
-I'm tired or out of it
-The controller runs out of batteries

 

I lose whenever I scratch my balls....

 

When one loses it is because the one losing has a hole or many holes in their game that the enemy takes advantage of, lag or whatever other reason you may say is irrelevant. It can all be overcome with experience even if it is just a little experience. The best people overcome the holes in their game in many ways.

It is as simple as that really.

 

Don't agree with this at all, if lag is irrelevant then you must be playing a different game to me. There's times I go to punish a low with dblplm but I simply get a whiffed /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif instead. What i'm actually seeing on screen is 10 frames behind what's happening. If the lag that's bad how can you adapt to that?

Sadly I can just 2p or 66p+kp myself to victory in most situations like this but I wouldn't call that adapting to the lag... just being cheap.

 

That is it you take lag into account and make a plan to account for it that is what I am talking about, it may be a minor hindrance at first but it can be overcome even though we may not like it much (I hate lag as much as you do I really sympathize with you big time on this). It may not be what you like to do all the time but it still works right. Besides the term "cheap" doesn't exist in any fighting game it is all a mental thing really anything goes in a fighting game "cheap" or not.

 

Not saying I hate it man, just saying that lag being "irrelevant" or "a minor hindrance" isn't true at all.

 

The reasons which people used to send me when they lost where lags and that i was lucky.
I usually think of my reasons when i loose. Here is some of them excluding ones that have already been said :
1. to slow game from my side
2. my lack of experience online
3. nerves rofl
4. funny but sometimes i hurry to much
5. And one of the main eating zeroframe Throws plus too defensive game.

Don't you think there is a reason for weight classes and why this game runs at 60 fps. Lag is sparactic and yes each person did hit start on the controller, so they accepted the match regardless of condtions. This one major point of lag itself is why online vf should never be taken seriously EVER! Use it as a learning tool and power up!

I do what you write about if I every time play a game. What makes you think I take online VF that seriously?

 

Its not like you can decline a match when you see their latency in VF........................................

 

sure you can, I do it all the time. you sign out or quit to dashboard.

I don't know any such thing. you made mention of seeing the lag bars and not having an option of declining the match. you have them, they're just not coded into the game (which is a shame).
