1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

Where can I buy Video Game soundtracks?

I'm mainly looking for the soundtracks for Virtua Fighter 2 (with the remixes that are on the Saturn) and the Panzer Dragoon series. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Balde.

Pick up the VF2 Saturn game... the soundtrack will play on your CD player.

Yeah, but I would like to officially buy the soundtrack because the tracks are longer and I've heard that there are other tracks on it that are not in the game.

Thanks for your reply though,
Balde.

The VF2 soundtrack's a bit hard to come by nowadays because it's out of print in Japan. A lot of Japanese stores have used copies though, and I think I recall a few links that had used versions in for sale. It only has the arcade version tracks on it, though. I'll check again and see what I can find.
You can get more recent VGM stuff at:

There's also sites like http://www.animenation.com (whom I despise but others seem to really like).
As for crappy Taiwanese bootleg SM/Ever Anime gane music CDs, you can find them at lots of places, but I carry no intent to promote their sale.

No offense, but this thread is probably better in the GENERAL section. (^^;)

I know you were looking for the 'official' CD, but if you just want to hear the tunes from the arcade version or the saturn remix (which is supposed to be pretty awful) then I've got them on mp3... ftp://vf.dyndns.org/vf%20history/disc_1/sounds/mp3/.

I don't know where you can buy these soundtracks, but I do know the next best alternative -- if not better.

Go to Media Zero. You can find the videogame music you're looking for here. They have strict downloading policies, but it's worth the trouble. I already downloaded the entire soundtrack from the first 2 Panzer Dragoon games (with PD Zwei being my all-time favorite videogame soundtrack), and currently in the process of doing PD Saga. I'm sure you'll find a few more of your personal favorite videogame tracks there as well.
