Where can I play VF4 in Toronto?

I just arrived here a few days ago. I have no idea where I can play VF4 in this city. I live in Scarborough, near the cross of Warden Ave and Finch Ave. If anyone knows, please tell me. Thanks a lot.

Also, try some of the arcades on Yonge St. They should have an arcade cabinet around. I'm not sure but Orbit in Markham should have an arcade cabinet as well.

Mind you, I've only been to Toronto once and that was almost 3 years ago. The local Toronto Vf crew should help you better than I can.

 

Thanks a lot. Llanfair sent me a mail to tell me that normally the play Evo on PS2 but in Video Funland there should be arcade cabinet(s). I will go there today, 7th, May. And I visited Orbit in Pacific Mall but I didn't find any VF4 there. By the way, the Yonge St. is too long. I totally have no idea where I can find arcade there.

 

Funland is at Yonge and Dundas. If you're taking the subway get out at the dundas st. stop and walk north on dundas. You'll see funland on the right hand side of the street. The VF scene in TO is now quite what it used to be, although we occassionally get together and play on the PS2, or more likely VF3/2 on my boards -- even then, that is pretty rare now.

Oh, God. Today I was so close to there. I walked along Yonge from Front to Queen. Then I took the metro. What a pitty. And I also visited Video Funland and Video Entertainment located in Eglinton and Brimley. But nothing there. And the Video Entertainment has been already closed. I think my last chance to play VF4 in Toronto is Dundas Funland. What the version is there, A, B or C? I hope I could play with you guys before I leave. Thanks again.

Hopefully you'll be around come the end of the month and throughout August.

After speaking extensively with one of our local operators, Toronto will have VF4 Final Tuned. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif There will be plenty of oportunity to meet, play, etc., many of the regular Toronto VF crowd. New blood is always welcome.

BMF. I am not lying. I can tell you with 100% assurity that Toronto will have Final Tuned up and running by the beginning of August. I have been hounding Vince for the last 3 and a half weeks - calling him, emailing him, petitioning our case for the need of Final Tuned.

It certainly pays off to know your operator well. <-- take home message to the rest of NA with Evo arcade.

It's done, he's ordered it, it's coming. Need I say more?

As far as I know, that's what they're planning. They had a japanese Evo down at VA on Eglington and an international Evo at Metro when the it was first out. I have no idea what happened to the international Evo, but the japanese one ended up in an arcade in Brampton. Apparently, they are moving the Evo back to Metro, upgrading to Final Tuned, and installing in one of the Versus Cabinets.
