1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

Where has it all gone

I KNOW that I shouldn't be posting media requests, and well, it's not a request for media exactly. The reason I signed up for the forum was because I've noticed that the media section is dominated by movies from Virtua Fighter 4 Evo.

Yesterday I was looking for some old matches from Virtua Fighter 2 arcade and I couldn't find any. I'm not asking anyone to upload them or anything like that. I'm just wondering where I could find them, because I couldn't find any here and I checked all the 25 pages of topics *L*

Speaking of Virtua Fighter 2, Sega could make a compilation of sorts for PS2, XB or GC first 3 arcade games converted properly. Saturn version of VF2 was okay but I still missed the bridge on Shun's stage. VF3tb for DreamCast sucked a bit and was lacking few nice eye candies like Jacky's jacket being loose rather than stiff. Not to mention horrible sleeves of Aoi.

I wonder if the day will come when I'll be able to enjoy Virtua Fighter 2 in all its glory without being forced to buy the arcade machine.

Highly unlikely. I recommend you buy the arcade version. VF2 PCBs run for about $150 these days on eBay. If you love VF2, it's worth it.

I was actually looking for the board, but it's not a Jamma connector one [At least I haven't noticed the Jamma while looking at the hardware], so I wouldn't have a clue how to get it running in home enviroment. Or maybe it is Jamma but I'm just blind. Maybe Jamma +, since it runs at high resolution. Anyone knows anything about that?

*note* Ok. So I checked it out quickly and I found out that it actually can be converted to Jamma by using something called "Sega to JAMMA" harness / adapter. Now where can I find one of those?
