1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. 2008 is looking to be a great year for this genre, so what other fighters will u be getting?
    I'l be going for
    Tekken 6
    SC4
    SF4
    KOF12
and if VF5R and DOA5 are coming to console this year, them as well.

This is of course providing everything is online, since its the only way I can play nowadays. Seriously I do not know how my brain will cope with remembering the movelists! I'm probably one of the few people in this world that will play and enjoy the 4 main 3D fighters.

KOF 12 and maybe SF4. I think I will get Sell Out Calibur and Taken 6, When they go cheap like 15$ or something.

stHD, SF4, Blazblue, KOF12. All depends on the final products though. As for 3d, I hate Tekken and DOA isn't interesting enough.

Hmmm I'm still not sold on SC4 just yet, but will pick up SF2THD. I think thats about it, unless VF5 R gets a console release. Tekken doesn't draw me in, like it did in the past. I stopped playing KOF after 98. Tried to like maximum impact. Arcana Heart getting a US release, I really want to try out fist of the north star if sega will ship it stateside.

BlazBlue- I love Arc System games and art direction of their games(Music too)
KOF XII-The 2D fighter that I've been waiting for(and others) A LONG TIME! 2D HD Sprites, nuff said.
Arcana Heart(NTSC) I got the import, but I'm getting the US version to play it on my PS3(Upscaling Baby!
Fate/Unlimited Codes- Awesome Type Moon fighting game coming out. I love doujin type fighting games(CRAZY COMBOS FTW!)

KOF98UM and SSFIITHDR are definites. SFIV, VF5R and others only if they come out this year.

KOFXII is dated for 2009, so that's next year.

Also, HnK is awesome, Aoimaster. Just get it on import.

I forgot about KOF 98 UM. SF II HD remix is on my list as well. Getting it for the PSN and 360.

  8. STHD, SC4, SFIV are definately on my list, but I'll probably pick up everything that makes it out this year, providing it has decent online play.

That's the real deal clincher for me, as there's no local competition.

I want to import Hnk but I don't have a jap ps2. Did they atleast tweak and balance it?

Rei's infinite game breaking dragon punch and Heart's "That Hurts" super glitches were removed, and Raoh's sword hold was toned down.

Toki's still annoyingly godlike though. And to think he died of radiation sickness.

The big one for me is Soul Calibur 4 the ability to play online and see where I really stand among the best players. I know will get into SF4 or Tekken 6 some but I like SC so much more overall. I am seriously thinking about a getting my PS2 modded to play Arcana Hearts I played on a friends PS2 and it was fun really

Definitely SC4, I'll have to think about it, but probably also Taken Secks /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
    I would buy DOA, even DOA4 if it was on PS3, as I just don't want a 360 :p

Other than that, definitely KOFXII and SF4, but that's it, those I am sure of, I would have to check the demo's or smth of the other games mentioned (like Blazblue).

And yeah, of course any kind of VF, though It just won't hit consoles soon (I hope it will someday, but who doesn't).

SC4 is a given. I wasn't too excited about SF4 till I saw the gameplay. Honda ftw suckas! If only they had Ingrid in that game(which they won't...I'm well aware...)

I've always liked KOF but never really messed with it. Every so often I think about Tekken. Everyone rags on it for having silly characters...I find something appealing about boxing someone with a kangaroo... /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

Arcana Heart is getting a US release, BTW is there any gameplay changes they made in SC4. Or is it just added characters+SC3. The movement in 3 feels so restricted compared to 2.
