Who all is mirroring these days?

I'm ripping the VStage7 tournament that occured when I was on my humble vacation. Pretty good stuff - Mukki Akira was there, which is odd for him to show up in such a low-key tournament.

Anyways, I'll be ripping the tape, but it won't be in the same format as the other three tournaments I've ripped. Basically, each file will have 5 unrelated matches (it was a 1 on 1 tournament). This is to save me time, as I've got little now. So, unless you can read Japanese (and really low-res Japanese at that) it's likely you won't know who's fighting.

Problem #2, is that PSO EP I & II is now out here in Japan, and yours truly is doing sessions of that in when I'm not in the arcades, so I can't serve while I play it. So, I need to know if anyone can mirror, and if so, get them the files first. I basically am out of my house by 7:30 JST and get back no earlier than 17:30 JST, but it's usually more like 21:30 or 22:30. If so, the site will go down for a few hours, and if you can't resume, you could be screwed, as the files will be probably 30-40 megs each.

CreeD -- did you get your DSL shit sorted out?
Anyone from the bigger 100MB sites want some of the action?

Gaijin Punch of course, although it doesn't have the same impact when it's written in Engrish.

I'm hooked on the game, totally. Didn't think I would be after playing the DC version so much, but w/ Broadband working, it's nicer than paying $150+ a month in phone bills.

I suppose I could allow a couple of users on at once, cap them at 5k/s, and still play, but I'm sure it'd get the balls hammered out of it, leaving me in the same place.

CreeD: It's 2002 dude -- what the fuck is wrong w/ that northern state of yours?

Ha, I'm out of the northern state, which is what makes it doubly sad. For people reading this and wondering wtf we're talking about:
The ISP I use is charging 135 dollars a month for SDSL. It's got a max speed of 15 Kbps down and 15 up. It's hilarious only because I'm not footing the bill, if I were I'd be on dialup.

The ISP is charging HOW MUCH? And you hated Maine, so you moved... good for you /versus/images/icons/wink.gif

    It's a fluke /versus/images/icons/smile.gif

There's a cheaper alternative, but I need to save up money for installation costs.

How much is the installation cost? Are you that broke?

Actually $135/mo is about right for SDLS -- they do that to make businesses pay, as they need UPLOAD speed, not download. The problem is, he's got SYMMETRICAL broadband which maxes out at basically 128k ISDN, which is what? 10 year old technology?

    135 is about right!?
Maybe for SPANKY business SDSL that operates at roughly the same speed I'm used to for downloads: 120 KB/s. Or even half that, 60 KB/s, isn't a complete waste of time. But this is oNe-eIgTH that speed aDFDSNKGSfd;d;g
    wtf!
Anyway yeah it's old technology. I can tell because the modem is plain looking and two shades of brown. Seriously.
I don't suppose it's grounds for a lawsuit if these guys advertise ADSL but give us SDSL? I'm sure they must have mentioned it sometime.

As for am-I-so-broke-the-install-is-beyond-me, yup. I don't have 200 or 400 or whatever the wireless people want. It's a bummer.
