WNF Special - VF5:FS Tournament

    [​IMG] The fifth week of WNFs with VF5FS will be happening when that clock reaches zero! In the last tournament, L A, GoatCheese Blues and DRE finished in the Top 3. Let's see if new challengers step up to take their spots!

    WNFs are hosted at the Super Arcade in Walnut, California with the tourney to start ~ 9 PM PST. Casuals start at 7 PM PST. $5 to get in. $5 to enter the tournament.

    Last week saw 30 players entered. Looking for 40+. Let's do this!

    Wednesday Night Fights - Weekly VF5FS Tournaments Summary Thread. For those that don't live in the Los Angeles area, the event will be streamed at the Level|Up Live Channel.

    Update: The tournament was a five-person Round Robin (everyone plays everyone twice) followed by a Three out of Five Grand Finals between first and second place.

    M-Type had the most wins in Round Robin followed by DRE. They battled it out with a best 3 out of 5 in the Grand Finals. DRE reset the bracket and came back to win first place.

      Very cool to see WNF stream Final Showdown for a fifth week straight. I've really enjoyed watching the tournaments. I'll check out the stream archive on Thursday.

      I was nervous about that, too. It went away the first time I got bodied.

      The last four tournaments have changed my nerves considerably. I learned to focus. That allowed me to beat DRE two weeks ago and get to the final four last week.

      Stream kinda sucks IMHO because of stupid behaving commentators and UMvC fags on chat. I watched a few matches (because 6 or 7 people were playing) and I'm going get some sleep (07:23 AM when writing this post) looks like I don't have luck in watching WNF. At least to let trolls commentate on EVO or I personally come to USA to kill someone o_O

      Sorry I couldn't make it tonight, guys and gals. Had alot of work stuff to take care in order to take the rest of the week off for EVO. next week we will be back to the usual VF tourneys at WNF.

      Five people signed up. That's about 1/6th of what we've had the last two times. The turn-out for the other games looked about the same... 1/6th the normal.

      Level|Up did the same set-up as always. These guys are professional. The guy doing the commentary doesn't play VF. He did the commentary anyway because Level|Up made sure to have someone doing it. Professionalism yet again.

      Seriously - with the release of FS and the dedication of Level|Up and Super Arcade, we went from zero to awesome in the blink of an eye when it comes to FGC exposure.

      Don't bash.
