Women-only game centres in Japan (^_-)

Just read at

that, to prevent Peeping Toms' miniature cameras, some arcades in Kyouto, Japan, have banned men from entering the print club section or floor of the arcades.

 

Uhm, do women have a habit of getting naked in arcades there or something? Why do peeping toms favor arcades with their miniature cameras. Do they put them in big handbags and point them up? /versus/images/icons/smile.gif

Seriously, that article says some arcades let their female customers borrow and wear cosutmes, such as nurse and sailor fuku, before they use the print club machines. Cosplayers. (@_@)

Is that what was going on? I remember seeing those signs in Kyoto...I was like WTF...I almost went in pretending to be a non-Japanese speaking foreigner just to check it out but then thought better of it.

Yah, lots of places have costume rentals for use with print club machines. Silliness.

There's something about doing it at home, and most game centers don't have dressing rooms. I must say I've 'surprised' a few girls a time or three. Just something that happens in when you live in a country with extremely closed quarters. Also considering nobody has a yard, or more than a few feet from any given road, it gives peeping toms extra insentive. My fiance is REALLY weird about peepers. ALWAYS has the blinds shut at the house.
