World Cup 2006 Germany

    I'll be in Germany for most of the World cup with a group of friends, four in total.

    So I was wondering if any of our German VF friends could help us to arrange accomodation? We're staying away from hotels as they're either too expensive or all booked out. Our preference is to rent a serviced apartment for at least 1 month. What kind of help do we need? Well, at this point, some reputable websites we could look at would be a good start. Anything more than that would be a bonus!

    We're still waiting to hear back on our ticket applications through fifa, but if we get some/all of the games we wanted, then we'll be staying around Kaiserslautern.

    Any other VFers going to the World Cup? We should definitely meet up if we can for a challenge -- on and off the ball! /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif

    look out for the holigan fans from england an germany, ive been hearin its gonna kick off, even tho portugal went so well!

    france 98 was real bad!

    i wanted to go but all my football(read pub) mates dont wanna go cos they're pussys!

    an its sooo near! (travel wise!)

    how are you guys liking the groups?? I think US will pass first round> but very tough.
    My native Mexico also has good chance to pass to next round if they dont play too cocky.
