1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

    I don't know about you guys, but I would love to see Virtua Fighter on a portable system such as PSP or the upcoming Nintendo 3DS. If any of u have a playstation account and tend to vote on ideas at playstation.com's blog share, I submitted an idea for Virtua Fighter on PSP if u would like to vote up on it.
    If VF were to be on PSP, i can imagine how to make the controls easier with the lack of a 2nd set of shoulder buttons:
    L=P+K+G
    R=K+G
    Change the X button from P to P+G(throw)
    and try to simultaneously press the triangle and O buttons (P and K buttons respectively)

    I don't think that a portable version of VF is a good idea. There are so many things people would find a reason to bitch about (controls, graphics and what not)

    I myself, just don't like portables. If I want to play, I do this at home. No point to be able to play wherever you go, cause I rather do something with the ladies and/or my pals.

    allright then, that's ur opinion, me, on the other hand, i'll keep hoping

    edit #1 - I've always fantasized of a release of VF4: Final Tuned on PSP, what do u guys think about that? Release the final version of VF4 that never saw a home release on PSP, and the graphics would do just fine since VF4 was on PS2 and the PSP has PS2 graphics. Any thoughts?

    edit #2 - Yeah, hypothetically, if Sega released VF4:FT on PSP rather than a port of VF5, there would be no complaining about the graphics since VF5 has excellent graphics, possibly the fighting game on the current generation of consoles with the best graphics.

    I won't mind a portable VF either, I'm getting tired of playing/practicing Tekken-6 in my PSP.

    I'd love a VF to play while on the crapper.

    It would be kinda cool to see something like VF on the 3DS with the touch screen having an option to where the player could assign certain moves to a slot on the screen. That would help the player perform certain moves that would seemingly be next to impossible on the dpad. Imagine being able to sidestep and Tetsuzanko with Akira by just pressing [2]_[8] and a button on the touch screen. Or even doing a SPoD on reaction without having to do several inputs on a small dpad. I'm pretty sure certain new combos and setups could be spawned from that touch screen concept (but I'd worry about a console version first).

    Ya they definitely need to come out with a console version of VF5 R so us ppl that are not privileged to be in japan can have a chance to play it too

    I just wanted to remind u guys that I posted on Playstation.com's blog share that I have "Virtua Fighter PSP" posted as an idea, it has +9 votes out of 33 so far but rarely does anyone vote on it sadly. I just submitted an idea that I hope goes through which is something we ALL SHOULD vote on. "Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown" under the PS3 category. I hope it goes through, who knows, it might open Sega's eyes and tell them even more so that people outside of Japan want the new VF on consoles.
    So if u have a Playstation account, PLEASE vote UP on my VF PSP idea. I would really appreciate even if it doesn't happen. Hey, you never know.

    Hey guys, I have a question, I probably already know that the answer is no, but is there going to be a PS Vita version of Final Showdown, Wikipedia says it will be but I pretty sure it is wrong, for one thing, it has no source, and I can't find anything on the internet.
