WTF happened to the PS2 Phantasy Star Remake...

Can't find shit anywhere on this. I've een playing PSO 1 & 2 almost exclusively since my VF hiatus (funds -- remember, I got shit-canned a few months ago) and it's been fun. Cheap, as I'm not throwing 100-yen coins in EVO every minute, and not paying $50 x 2 every week or so to get the latest games.

On the flip side, I've not played anything new in a while, nor do I know what's coming out. This was something I was looking forward to though.

 

The Phantasy Star remake comes out for the Japanese PS2 in August. No word on a release to any other territory. It's suppose to come out along with remakes of Space Harrier, Monaco GP, and Fantasy Zone for around 2500 yen.

 

Ju got a link? I saw the original pics when they came out (and I thought I posted them here) but can't find anything new. I can't wait - I've played the original all the way through at least 20-30 times (as a kid).
