With the immense capabilities of the SmackDown "create a superstar" I made Wolf, VF4 style.
Here are some photos of my creation off a TV (uh, they didn't give me the RCA cables..) I took with a camcorder I borrowed from a local TV station.

    Check it out!

If your still not freaked out enough, I also made...
    Goku! (close-up)
    Goku 2
    Kinnikuman!
    and Mister Satan

Speechless-ness or comments would be nice.

On another semi-related note, I have an .avi of Virtua Fighter 4 which I'd like to be available to the internet. Buuut, since I'm 17 anything but free hosts is difficult to handle. The only way I can set it up is by disguising the extension and breaking it up, etc.

Naw, Jim Steele gets the honors of being Wolf's real-world counter part. He actually played the character of "Wolf Hawkfield" for a year or so in Japan (seriously!)

    Jim Steele?

ragingsilver: Thanks. I checked the forum descriptions and under Media it's anything VF related, but I think your right. It must mean directly related..
Though this is an odd topic, so you can't blame me.

Emblem: Jim Steele...Jim Steele, ah~h I never looked into Japan wrestling that deeply.
I checked up on him though, and even found a picture of him ( as Wolf {near the bottom} ).
    Yes...good call. /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Get yourself a copy of Giant Gram Wrestling on the DC and you can play as the VF Wolf Hawkfield and the 'real' Wolf Hawkfield and you can feel the 'real' power /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

couldn't resist the pun, I'll go now.

Thread moved from Media board. Sorry to split hairs on this one, but it really isn't a post about VF media.

I was thinking about getting this game as it's supposed to have more depth than other wrestling games and 2nd hand it costs around £12.

How well did they implement Wolf, Jeffery and Kage into the game?

    Giant Gram Pro Wrestling

I only knew "Giant Gram Pro Wrestling" as "All Japan Pro Wres.", I thought it was only available as an import.
I do have a Dreamcast and I'll keep an eye out for it.

Also, nice to see mods are hands-on here.

It was never released outside of Japan but the DC is the easiest console to play imports on.

Giant Gram2 has 3 VF characters while 2000 version just has Wolf. Im gonna give it a try next week.

It's pretty arcadey actually. But beneath the surface it can be quite in-depth, lots of comboing of moves together.

I never really played much of jeff, kage and wolf in it to be honest, I always really liked going Gary Albrecht and Vader. It's fun for novelty though, and if you're a VF completist then it might be worthwhile just owning.

    I haven't played 2000 though /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Fire Pro D is a far better game if you ask me though..

Just so long as it's got more to it than Smackdown that should be good enough.

smackdown and any japanese puro resu game should never be in the same sentence. Apart from maybe all star pro wrestling 1 on the PS2, that game is utter wank.

    SmackDown

Well, SmackDown games (to me anyway) are just for screwing around. When I want to rack my brain I'll play Virtua Fighter.
