5.Wolf setups! (Please donate info to the collective, so everyone can grow!)

    [5][P][K],[G]
    -cancel>[P][+][G]
    -Options:
    1.+2 block/+5 normal hit/+8 counter hit.
    2. Depending on how fast you hit check
    determines your fate!
    Example:
@+2 He could buffer throw, but you natural fuzzy and [P][K] fuzzy whiff recover or [4][P][+][K]>crumple combo!
-Try perrying and throw escape. It takes care of two options as long as it docent knockdown. Remember wolf is always tune to finding areas where you [P]/[2][P] for bad habits.

@-5 you really should [3][3][G] sparringly. He can blow you up with [6][3][2][1][6][P][P]>Meaty/Otg. He also can read your fuzzy and low throw you before it recovers.
-Here is where it gets interesting. If you just guard his low throw whiffs and you get free launch! Now, it's a guessing game on both sides, but if you never punish low throw he won't respect it.

    @-8 either [2][8][6][6][G]TE/[G]TE
-I wouldn't suggest doing anything stupid in fear of losing half life
-You might see [6][P][+][K] used and know it's -13 on block.

    [5][P]/[2][P](CH)>[P][+][G]

    -Throw Break
    -[4][P][+][K] Semi Charge>Bound Combo!>
    Otg/Meaty.
    -[P]/[2][P]

*Mixup is the key to deter wolf from always assuming he will get throw.
-If you get good at conditioning evade [3][P][+][K] CH>[P][+][G] becomes a strong option.
-Study his best nitaku tools and where to evade!

    [5]Knockdown Tech roll [2][P]>[6][3][2][1][4][P][P]>Otg/Meaty/OM Meaty [2][P][K][G].

-Wolf will take any chance to get advantage to press you until death.
    -Crush [2][P] on tech.
    -Block [2][P]>+5 buffer [3][P][+][K] for High/Mid or [4][6][K] to beat 2nd [2][P] attempt.

    [5]Two move blocked>[P][+][G].

-Very common tactic to get you to respect the three piece strings.
-Example: [P][P] is -6 on block. Here you can apply [3][P][+][K] w/o worry, small disadvantage on block.
-If you know throw is coming [4][P][+][K] for 90+Pts dmg to bark back.
-If you sense 3rd [P] is mid, so you can guard/perry.
-Guard gives you +8, so apply [4][P][+][K] to beat High/Mid or [4][6][K] for low.
-If you perry during your [2] or [8] you can buffer a lot based on opponents actions. Most good players know the catch throw isn't free and can be interrupted! What they don't know is this should be treated similar to a successful evade equation!
-Knowing this, you can [P][K][G][2]or[8]<[6][K] if they attack in disadvantage assuming they will interrupt you.
-You can usually tell early on if the player is squirrelly in close combat/hates being thrown/low throw escape %.

*Pay attention when perrying at what level and what your perrying!

[5]Wolf is always searching for the fastest [P] opponents all day!

-[6][2][K] is the best remedy w/>[3][P][+][K] down attack for good dmg!
    -Sometimes evade buffer>[6][2][K]>[3][P][+][K].
    -If you block [6][P][P]>Otg/Meaty.
    -If you evade [6][6][P]>Crumple Combo!>Omg/Meaty.
-Don't always setup with [P] in order to deter this tactic!

    [5]Wolf's Low crush [9][P][+][K]>[4][6][P][+][K]>Option select!

-Not only do you have to watch your [P], but your [2][P] as well.

-Traditionally wolf loves [2][P][+][K] into shinning wizard as a staple or ring out with [2][P][+][K][4] Slip Behind.
-These days in FS wolf uses two setups off of [9][P][+][K]>[4][6][P][+][K]!

    1. [9][P][+][K]>[4][6][P][+][K] vs rising. Here he has to assume you will mid rise. Wolf jumps over you then jumps backwards over you to make the mid rising [K] whiff. While in the air he can preform descending [P] and now you have a 33% chance to guess a low throw escape, good luck. (Don't rising kick here ever!)

2.[9][P][+][K]>[4][6][P][+][K] vs tech roll>[6][P][K][G]>option select. This gets tricky for wolf when the player has seen that he has options during this phase, but in the beginning it's deer in the headlights.
    -Options for include:
    -[6][P][K][G]>vs tech standing rise>catch [P][+][G]>Bound Combo!>Otg/Meaty.
    -[6][P][K][G]>vs tech atk>[K] creates force crouch>[2][P][K][G].
    -[6][P][K][G]vs tech atk>[P][+][K]>Otg/Meaty.
    -[6][P][K][G] vs fuzzy/crouch>[2][P][K][G].
    -[6][P][K][G]>[G] cancel jump back>reset.

*Note: If you ever see a throw whiff>recovery grants free [P][K]. Low throw whiff>Free Launch!!!
Also, be aware of [2][P][+][K]/[3][P][+][K] as a ring position tool or dmg to mess with you.

[5][4][6][P][+][G] (Fear this at all times!)
-This move is wolf's catch throw and is mainly to be feared as a ring position tool!
-REMEBER catch throws are the weakest throws and can be interrupted by almost anything except charge moves.
-No fence up always break towards the ring out area!
-With fence up, always towards the fence, because you don't want to eat the full wall combo and possibly a reset.
-Yes, this is a dirtbag move!

    [5]Whiff>[1][P][+][K]>[4][6][P][+][K].
    -Similar to [9][P][+][K] setups.
-Whiff [1][P][+][K]>[4][6][P][+][K] vs tech roll>[6][P][K][G]>option select. This gets tricky for wolf when the player has seen that he has options during this phase, but in the beginning it's deer in the headlights.
    -Options for include:
    -[6][P][K][G]>vs tech standing rise>catch [P][+][G]>Bound Combo!>Otg/Meaty.
    -[6][P][K][G]>vs tech atk>[K] creates force crouch>[2][P][K][G].
    -[6][P][K][G]vs tech atk>[P][+][K]>Otg/Meaty.
    -[6][P][K][G] vs fuzzy/crouch>[2][P][K][G].
    -[6][P][K][G]>[G] cancel jump back>reset.

*Note: [1][P][+][K] is used as a regular meaty, be careful! It also can be used to [2][P][+][G]/[3][P][+][G]!

You sir inspired me to get off my duff and stop making excuses! I hope this inspires other vfrs to take this and build their own. Back to the dojo to program my muscle memory.

Awesome work, Tim! I will try to schedule time to add to this (and probably import some data from my own Lion journal ;) )

Love that you put this out there!

Some additional notes, but acknowledging that everything in Tim's post is great!

    * 44K is a tricky one... in situations where you can buffer this response in while blocking, consider it 15 frames. However, as a reaction to block, it's probably best to just think of it as a 16 frame punisher because of the 44 motion. That said, it's very good for Lion players to try to train themselves to buffer this in recognizable situations.

    * Lion players would do well to mine the details that Tim put in the counters. There's a lot of good flowcharts and decision points that Tim has provided to help you maximize a situation in that list above alone. Particularly the application of 3P+K as well as using Lion's sidekick against side-turned opponents.
