Ha ha!! This guys it the go-to-guy for any martial arts game movie from Mortal Kombat to Tekken. He's been Shang Tsung and Heihachi so putting his as Lau seems like a nobrainer.

For the rest of the cast I want Michell Yeoh as Pai Chan:


I want to say Sam Seed as Shun Di. Is he still alive though? He seems a no brainer:


For Lei-Fei I think Jet Li is a given:


Not sure about the rest of the cast. As an aside I hope this movie never gets made; it would be f**king terrible.

Him and Goh do have some similarities visually but Goh's personality doesn't really match his or Ichi's ....VF would feel like a different game if it did lol.

Tadanobu is a decent actor though, he'd be able to do Goh justice.

Yeah I was also concerned about this until I did some Googling and it seems Pai Chan is actually 38 years old. She was born in 1975. So that's okay. I know Sega have changed her character in part 5 to make her seem like a pre-pubescent girl but she's actually supposed to be a mature woman. Plus I love Michelle Yeoh...

Can we say Donnie Chen for Akira maybe??

 

Actually take a look on the Thai movie Raging Phoenix (Jija Deu Suay Doo) - there actually IS Vanessa (both appearance- and performance-like wise) as final boss!

Michael White is not as well. Actually, he will really be perfect for Akira because of his look... Except for being black, ofc

 

Oh really? That's typical I guess. Fighting games generally have trouble sticking to their stories over time. At least they didn't go the old cryogenic or cloning route. Or alternatively introducing the long lost sibling with the same style who is years younger.
