After his inspirational beatdowns by Homestay Akira during EVO 2018, a reinvigorated @adamYUKI was driven to create a new chapter in a long standing tradition of Virtua Fighter Gatherings -- the inaugural Los Angeles Gathering (LAG). Taking place over the weekend of 18-19 January 2019, VFers gathered from near and afar to welcome, play against, and learn from the legend himself Homestay Akira who happened to be accompanied by his wife, a formidable VF player in her own right!




Planning for this event began back in October 2018 while the hype and momentum from EVO 2018 was still strong, and all who attended and participated on stream can attest to this event's success, and very much look forward to its continuation! Tournaments across a number of games, in different formats, were run over the entire weekend along with exhibitions and casual matches.
